Go check out my new blog - for those of you who keep asking, "Blog" is at the top of the page under the "w" of Sweeney. And "blog" is short for "weblog" which is the new, "hip" and certainly easier way for me to post.

Hope all of you are enjoying this weeks storyline! I have some photos to post from the Devil/Witch fantasy that aired yesterday. It took almost 4 hours for them to get Bryan and I ready for that scene. And then we took a dinner break. So Bry and I had to go to the Commisary at NBC and eat dinner with our faces like that. Isn't that hilarious? And, because the make-up was so light, I'd almost forget it was on my face, and then I'd catch a glance in the mirror and do a double-take! I scared myself!!! /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
And how fabulous are those bunny-slippers I'm wearing on the air shows???? Richard Bloore, our Costume Designer, said he had trouble finding already made bunny slippers, so he created his own!!! He's so creative. I oohhhed and ahhhed about them so much that Richard lets me keep them in my dressing room to wear on set all the time now. So in between all those scenes when I have to wear high heels, I slip on my comfy custom-made bunny slippers! /images/graemlins/cool.gif What could be cooler than that???!!!!

Congrats again! I'm very excited for you. I've just recently come back to watching Days (after about a 10 year break /images/graemlins/tongue.gif, imagine my confusion upon tuning in again recently /images/graemlins/smile.gif, but before long, I found saw some of my old favorites and it was all good) and you and Bryan are the main reason!! You both do such an awesome job and I've been hooked again just watching the current storyline between Sami and Lucus play out. Ali-the devil/witch scene was classic. Did they consider green makeup like in the Wizard of Oz/Wicked? Lucas's proposal was fun to watch, but the proposal itself was horrible. My wife and I consider Billy Joel's "I love you just the way you are" to be our theme song. But far most important, best of luck to you and Dave on the upcoming addition to your family.

Congrats! I wrote in June that I heard a rumor that Sami might be pregnant but now I hear that you are!! I can't remember where I heard it from. I had a baby boy named Matteo in Feb 2004. It's a great feeling being a mom. I never thought the joy it would bring to my husband and I. It changed our lives and he is a blessing. Just got back from a vacation in Florida drove 25 hours and 36 hours on the road and he was amazing. Never cried. Hope that you and Dave will be blessed with the sweetiest and happy baby. Eating lots of chocolate while pregnant. Makes happy babies!!

Ali, those witch/devil scenes were priceless. I love all those fun characters you, Bry, and Lauren get to portray in the fantasy sequences! Also, love the bunny slippers. If you ever get tired of them, be sure to put them on eBay!

The proposal scenes absolutely had me in tears. I cried the first time then replayed it and cried again. Then I watched the proposal again on Soapnet and cried then replayed twice and cried each time. The flashbacks were wonderful. Kudos to everyone involved in bringing the fans such a great episode. I can hardly wait to hear your answer today! (It better be yes!)

Congratulations on your pregnancy. What a lucky baby to have such great parents as you and Dave! Hopefully you will be able to blog again soon and let us know your progress.
