hey everyone, just wanted to get back here and say hi again after my little road trip out in british columbia. my boyfriend and i went camping with coyotes, boating with whales and dolphins, and horsebackriding on a ranch. it was beautiful. i even saw a black bear, ooooh! the canadian rockies were beautiful... if you ever get a chance to go, you'll experience some of nature's best work. which leads me to my question..... whats the most spectacular place or thing you have ever seen? .. even if its just a beautiful bird in your backyard?! xox /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Welcome back! Glad to hear you had fun. I think I'm going to add the canadian rockies to my list of places I want to travel. I have some pretty cool places on that list. whats the most spectacular place or thing you have ever seen? .. even if its just a beautiful bird in your backyard?! That would have to be when I went to Jacksonville Florida and we went to the beach. That was the first time I had ever been in the ocean. I love the water. I don't know how to swim mind you, but I feel in love with the ocean. There was something peaceful about it. Talk to you again soon.

spectacular thing would be the moose Shelly and I almost nailed a few years ago in the white mountains of New Hampshire. Dam those suckers a huge. Black bears in maine 2 weeks ago.

spectacular place would be Magog, Quebec and Islesboro Maine, an Island 3 miles off the coast (those 2 places we visit twice yearly)

Welcome back Karen! We've missed you! Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip. I'm taking a trip in a few days to Minnesota, but I won't see that many spectacular things. But it'll be fun all the same. Road trips are the best! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Lets see...the most spectacular place or thing I've ever seen. This is a toughy cuz I haven't been to many places. Well a few years ago my family and I went on a road trip to Florida. The best part for me was the ocean and sea world. I have always loved marine life and that was the first time I got to see those animals up close. I was blown away by the killer whales. I love it there and would love to go back. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just today? It would be the sunrise...red-orange sun and huge!

Last week I saw two even more beautiful sunrises...multi-colored hues of pink and purple...yellow and orange. Can you beat that?

But, by far the most beautiful of God's gifts I've ever seen is the smile on my 3 year old daughter's face every day. Talk about a blessing /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Oh snaps, another thing I miss when I'm at school --- Karen's return. Anyway, glad you had a wonderful time, K. Bunches of fun, always.

When i went white water rafting in Colorado, we saw a bunch of snow-capped mountains that were just beautiful. That has to be the top of my list, where I live it's just flat because I live on a plateau and it was nice to see those pretty mountains again. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, that sounds like an awsome trip. I hope you had a really great time. I think the most beatiful place i have been to is a waterfall that i had to hike to to see. It is in a park called Fintry National Park in B.C. near where i live. It was very peaceful and the water was ice cold. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

WB Karen!

I have a special place - every year i went to france since i was about 5. I didn't go this year but for the past 4 years me and my family went to the same campsite in Britanny. It was great fun, right next to the beach - an it was free, not like the beaches in other places. Anyway, everynight my parents would leave me and my sis in the tent and go for a walk around the hills to the left of the beach. I often had fights with my sister in these times and would run away to the sea front and find a nice quiet place on a deserted beach and watch the sun go down and the waves crash gently on the shore. It's such a relaxing image...if only i could go back there again some day /images/graemlins/smirk.gif happy days...I can still feel the sand in my toes and the waves in mmy ears and the distant sound of birds.

WOW...sounds like you packed a lot into that trip. I used to live in BC, it is so gorgeous. I have never camped with coyotes...and don't think I want to...I am a bit of a wuss /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The most spectacular thing I have seen is the blue lakes in the rockies. I also had a change to go horseback riding. As you are well aware, the mountains are gorgeous. I highly suggest a trail ride through the rockies.

Hey Im glad you had a great time in BC Im from BC too lol its a very nice place here. You might have heard of Grouse Mountain here in BC and yesturday me and 2 friends we went there and did the Grouse Grind. OMG let me tell you it is soooo hard and tireing it took us 2 hours to get to the top. But it was soooo beautifull as soon as we got to the top of the mountain and it was kinda worth it too lol! And I went on a cair lift for the 1st time that was scary and then I also went on the Gaundilla (sp?) for the 1st time too going down it was scary but you get use to it and it was a lot of fun too! The whole thing was fun!

The gratest thing I've ever done was climbing up a castle. Well it was in France and my classmates where with me and it was a lot of fun! The strong brise was refreshing and I felt a very kind of freedom when I had gotton on the top. I felt like kinda Lara Croft *lol*. It was just great. Poor nobody shared that feeling with me because they all where very tired cuz of the party the night b4. I wasn't *lol*

I would be happy, if I'd get the chance to make a trip like you Karen, maybe it's possibly in the future... and.... maybe you read this. could it be, that your hair's blonde again?

I always wanted to go to some tropical place, but I hate spiders. ewwwwwwww! The big furry, black, scary things can just drop off the face of the planet if you ask me. Unfortunatly the more tropical, the bigger the spiders! Well, someday I will go somewhere tropical. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

When I was in the Army stationed at Thule AFB in Greenland at the end of October the sun was only in the sky for a few hours a day and it was just one big sunset for hours I took pictures and made the mistake of sending them to the states to have them developed I never saw them again.

Hawaii was my favorite place and Waikiki Beach. Not sure I spelled that right but it's the most beautiful place I've seen in the world and the most relaxing. Glad you're back and you made a new fan Friday night.
