I watched most of the funeral on TV yesterday. It was a very somber event yet also a wonderful tribute to a man who for so many decades worked tirelessly to make life better for not only the people of Massachusetts but also for all citizens of America. His passing is a terrible loss for us all.

Watched most of the coverage on CNN. Thought his son Ted had an excellent speech in the church but I agree it was a very somber day in DC.

I did not get to attend the wake but I did watch the funeral. As a Massachusetts resident I am well versed in the legacy of the Kennedy's and all that Ted has done for my state and the country. While not perfect he is someone I deeply respected and I am beyond sad about his passing.
