damn doctors

if u saw my posts on the Alyssa board i had some blood tests last week and u would have also read that i hate needles. well i phoned the doctors yesterday to get the results back and they said that they didnt have them because the computer had crashed at the hospital and i had to fone back the next day. so today i phoned up and they said sorry they have LOST my results and if they dont find them by the end of the week i will have to get some more done. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

These things are always so frustrating, but don't fret. It's best to capitulate with them to avoid more serious complications down the road. These people are only trying to keep their patients as healthy as they can and while they appeared to be at fault this time, by requiring you to go in for additional tests they are only backing themselves up. As hard as it is for me to say this, it is required practice that the doctors do this as they are legally required to be this thorough.
In short - If you can take it the first time, often times, it will be easier on you second time around because you will be more used to it.

yeah i know and they have now found them... i wish they hadant, i have to go back to the doctors to discuse my blood tests because a few of them came back not normal.

yeah its well annoyin.. the lab that the doctors sent mine off to actually lost my blood .. twice!! so i had 2 have lots more needles then i should of

i went back the docs and now im waiting for a hospital appointmant i have to have more tests, i need blood tests (again) ultrasounds and maybey a scan of my brain... i told them they dont have to do the scan because they wont find anything in there.
