i went to bed last night with a really bad headache and woke up this morning with the worst cold. the annoying thing is the weather is quite nice over here, uuggghhhhh.
if anybody has any suggestions on something to make me feel better, id be very grateful, sammy

oh i'm sorry you're feeling down, try putting a bowl of bioling water on a table, put a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. sound odd i know, but it really clears headaches /images/graemlins/grin.gif

tea helps. so does chicken soup. well, i don't know if they make you better, but they do make you feel a bit better!!
also, when i was really sick earlier this year i took nyquill and my roommate took dayquill. both helped.

I agree. NyQuil really works if you want to get over a bad cold fast.

i have all these home remedys for colds. 1. do you know what airborn is? i dont know if they have it in england but you may find it anywhere with a pharmacy. it dosnt tatse bad at all and it gives you a burst of vitamins to give you engery. 2. eat blueberrys!! especially when you wake up in the morning. when you feel your worst, eat like 2 cartons and im not kidding. they are one of the most easy fruits on the stomache and they have alot of antoxidants. 3. eat chicken soup, ever hear of max's resturant, well if you cant make it they make good chicken or matzo ball soup. 4. boil water and boil garlic into the water, or if you make chicken soup put a fair amount of garlic along in with the rest. if you drink garlic water garlic is a natural antibiotic that can knock out infection. 5. vitamin C 6. eat non dairy foods becuase they create mucis. 7. drink lots of water and 8. provide a day of rest for your self. 9. rent funny movies and laugh cuz laughing makes your immune system higher! and lastly 10. eat what your body craves, i mean not everything but your body could be telling you with food what vitamins it needs. i hope i didnt confuse you! feel better soon! i no you will! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

yay, the bowl of boiling water worked and im sat down drinking a big mug of hot chocolate at the moment. i have asked for chicken soup for dinner tonight soo... i should be better soon /images/graemlins/smile.gif
