My computer screwed up so i lost all of my back up songs for my ipod, and there's three new cd's i would like to put on it. But I can't cuz I have to upload my songs to itunes from my ipod, and if I put the new songs on it will wipe my ipod which is 1325 songs. So i downloaded ipod rip so i could back up my music and it's not letting me install it.

Cant you switch itunes to manual update (its something like that) then you dont have to have the songs on your computer, then you can add the songs to itunes, and all you have to do to put them on your ipod is select the tunes, and drag them across. I have done this, as i dont have enough space on my pc to keep them all on, but as long as your ipod stays safe, you can still add tunes, and you've got you exsisting ones on there. Hope you get it sorted!
