Quick Update

Hey guys,

I thought I'd write you guys a quick update! I'm in Montana right now, which for those that are unfamiliar with the US is a state in the northwest, sorta in the rockies. The town im in right now, Billings, Montana, is right at the threshold of the Rockies. Its really pretty here. Theres no mountains right in town, but you can see them in the distance, and there are all kinds of plateaus and mesa tops, and awesome scenery. I flew from Atlanta to San Antonio, Texas, then off to Salt Lake City, Utah, then finally to Montana. I flew right over the rockies, and saw many gorgeous canyons, valleys, rivers and lakes. I did take lots of pictures. But the best of my pictures I think are going to come tomorrow. We leave here and fly back to Salt Lake City, then we go directly over the colorado rockies to St. Louis to stay the night. So I plan on taking many pictures on the way. I can get some great shots from the flight deck at flight level, and my crew lets me go up there. Fortunately I'm on the big jet so the other flight attendant can stay with the passengers. Anyways, I dont leave until 2:50 Mountain time, which is 4:50 eastern time tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about seeing some of the western US. I promise to post some good pics in this thread when I get back on Monday night. I'll be in St. Louis tomorrow night, then Omaha, Nebraska (supposed to be an awesome layover) on Sunday night! So if I get a chance I'll come back on and tell you guys how my day goes tomorrow! Hope everyone has a GREAT holiday weekend! I know I am! Talk to everyone soon!!! :D

Thanks for the update!! It sounds like this is a wonderful trip and you are seeing some of the best parts of the US. :) The rockies are beautiful and, as naomie said, majestic, to see. :) We'd love to see some pics when you get back. Have fun and have an excellent holiday weekend!! :)

Aww man! What a bust! I never even got to go to Nebraska! About saturday afternoon in St. Louis, my captain called my room and told me to "get comfortable" cause we were cancelled and staying in st. louis another night. So anyways, I proceeded to go off to the Harrah's Casino and loose about 60 bucks on the slot machines and spend another 20 on drinks. I did have a good time, but I dont think I'll be goin back to anymore casinos cause I didn't have good luck! But anyways. So today we flew from St. Louis to Salt Lake City at 7am, and then deadheaded back to Atlanta on big Delta as passengers. My flight this morning was 2 hours and 40 minutes! I was over it! Then coming back to Atlanta I had to sit in coach for 3 and a half hours. I was not happy! LOL!!! But thankfully I am home now, and as soon as I unpack and hook up the camera, I'll post some good pics!

I just take so many shots though, that I'm able to actually find a few good ones out of the many that I take! ;)!!!! Just wait until I go on holiday in 11 days! Yep! My best friend and I are headin across the pond again with a destination of London!!! We booked our hotel the other night! I'm so excited. I fly out on the 19th! 11 days from now! Woohoo!!!! :D

No sammy, I'll just stay in central london. I'll only have 3 days there, but I can get a lot done in 3 days! Thats right mike! You know where to find me also! Either in Harrods, at the ritz taking tea, or out pub crawling. LOL :D

HAHAHA You know I will!!! Ok, so maybe I wont be taking tea at the ritz. Lord help me its prolly 20 quid just for one cup! But I do intend on seeing the normal stuff. I have planned out the Tower of London, London Bridge, Kensington Gardens, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Oxford Street (thanks Mike!), and Harrods, and then of couse at night time I'll transform into my kooky nitetime self and hit the pubs to check out the local London nightlife. I havn't finished reading up on all of my travel books yet, so I havn't completed my list of places to go and things to see. But I am a bit crunched for time, and I do want to see as much as possible, but I dont want to get over there and be like "Ok I have one hour for this, then 20 minutes to get to here to spend 30 minutes seeing this, then 45 minutes for lunch...." etc. I want to take my time and relax, since I'll be on holiday, but I want to see a lot of things since its obviously not every day that I get to come to the UK. But I can hardly wait!!! I'm so thrilled! And my best friend who will be venturing over there with me is also excited! From the moment I get on that big old bird in BusinessElite having my bubbly, its of course the international champagne jet set that doesn't end until I clear through customs back in Atlanta. :D

Your itinerary sounds so exciting Ryan!!! There is so much to see and do but definately take a bit of time just to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings. :)
