Friday the 8th Episode

:) Hey everyone, I just got back from visiting my sister in college (I've been gone since Friday morning), which is why I haven't posted all weekend. Anyways, I missed Friday's episode since I was away, and I wanted to know if one of you could please fill me in on what happened :p Thanks!

In this episode, Hal discovers that he neglected to pay his health insurance premium when he finds a fall coat that he hadn't used in six months and in the pocket is the check for the insurance company. His family has been without health insurance for six months. :eek: He calls the health insurance company and they tell him it won't be until next monday that they can reinstate his health insurance so the family has to go through another weekend without it. Hal then injury-proofs the house, hiding knives, scissors, forks. He then stores everything dangerous from the house in the garage and the garage is full. Very funny scenes. Hal then locks (or so he thinks) Reese, Malcolm and Dewey in their bedroom till Monday AM so they won't hurt themselves as he doesn't have any insurance. The boys have a secret way out of the room and Hal is outside and sees a nail sticking out of a board under the roof of his patio so he nails it in and then the room collapses on Hal. :eek: The boys find him and his leg is injured and they want to take him to the hospital so Hal tells them the problem and that Lois will be very angry if she finds out he didn't pay the health insurance bill as it was the one thing she kept sayin to Hal to make sure he did.

Meanwhile, Lois is at work at Lucky Aide and all the workers except Craig want to form a union but then the boss gets word of it somehow and fires one employee so the other workers including Lois try to figure out who it is. At first she thinks it's Criag and is about to tell her co-workers her suspicion when they tell her they know who it was. It was another employee who has been promoted and they figure it was he who told the boss of their plans. Then Lois overhears Craig secretly telling the boss something about "names" and Lois feels it really was Craig who told so she tells her co-workers. Then she finds out it wasn't and runs to save him but he's already been tied up and sprayed with something by then. Lois feels terrible and Criag admits he was actually planning a surprise party to celebrate her 10 years at Lucky Aide. Lois then gets a phone call from Dewey who says hurry home, there's been an accident.

The boys decide not to tell Lois about the insurance and instead help Hal pretend he's fine even though his knee is out of place. Lois believes them after how much she'd been wrong at work that day and leaves. The boys take Hal to a doctor's son who tries to put his knee back in place. :eek: And Lois goes back to work for her party except no one comes but Craig. He then sings her a song which is very funny.

Very good episode. Hopefully you'll be able to catch it in a rerun as my description doesn't begin to do the episode justice :)
