Hi everyone! I was just re-reading my rant from last night. :rolleyes: sorry for being so negative! Ben and I had a great morning playing! I still have a weird twinge in my back - getting old. lol. But other than that I'm great. Ben played outside with me while I carved pumpkins. Dave says it's too soon - that they'll dry up by Sunday, do you think? I hope not. I carved good ones! And I'm drying the seeds to roast. I absolutely love pumpkin seeds. And in a Martha Stewart Living from last year there were a couple different spice recipies for fixing the seeds. So delicious.

Also, I went to Target and got some construction paper and thick board to make cut out witches and cats and stuff. But I love the idea of making some tombstones too. So cool. I've got to go back though, and get more foam board. Maybe tomorrow. Also, it's been kinda overcast and rainy here... don't want anything to be ruined beforehand.

How hilarious was that scene yesterday where Sami casually mentions the 'third bedroom' in her apartment?! That set has been around since before I was even on the show - in fact, I was a fan of the show watching, the scenes where Carrie moved in to the apartment with her friend, Jesse. ha ha - Carrie was really 'rebelling' moving in with a boy! And Austin moved in next door. so funny to remember those old storylines. Talk about 'creative license' with adding a bedroom. Now that set is huge!

Alright, well, I'd better get back to work!

Hey Ali, don't worry about your rant. We are here to listen, like a whole bunch of radio psycologists or something. Everybody has a bad day, Trust Me. I have them alot. I'm really glad to hear that you had a better morning. I bet Ben is a lot of fun to have around when you are working on projects for Halloween. Babies and animals are always very helpful for these thing......LOL.

I was very amused when Sami mentioned her "3rd room" being full of junk and needing to be cleaned out anyway. LOL. That is too funny. I'm just wondering how big this magical apartment will get? I can't wait for some funny Sole moments.

Well back to work, before the boss catches me. Hehe.

Glad to hear that you are having a better day Ali.. That must have been so much fun craving pumpkins w/ little Ben. :) I hope that he enjoys his first halloween as much as mommy does ;) I am truly loving the A-Sole scenes they have been great.. I loved how Sami mentioned her 3rd bedroom as well, and the way you spit out the cola you were drinking when Austin mentioned Nicole moving in w/ you guys was hilarious.. Anywho it is always a pleasure to hear from you feel free to vent whenever you like.. We all have our days!! Have a fantastic week and a great Halloween :)

Don't worry about your rant. I'm a very positive person so when I rant to someone it is very rare and I apologize so much for ranting. It's like there is so much going on in the world and I'm ranting about something stupid or silly. Have fun on Sunday.
It's getting cold in South Carolinia. It came out of nowhere. Everybody was bundled up this morning. I just got out of a meeting and we were talking about our winter vacations: I'm going to the Bahamas in January with my sister, another is going to California to visit her daughter in a couple weeks...We were also like let it snow this year.. We need some days off..It was a fun and hilarious meeting.

Hi Ali! Don't worry about the pumpkins, if they get a little dry, soak them in water and you can also put vegietable oil or vasoline on the parts that are cut and the inside to keep them from drying out.

I was thinking that Hogwarts was not the only place with a " Room of Requirement". :) I have only watched regularly for about 2 years, but was always under the impression that Sami had a 2 bedroom apartment (apparently, rightly so). These are just things one accepts being a soap viewer.

Don't worry about venting..after all you're human (tee hee!!). Don't listen to anything negative said by anyone. Obviously that person does NOT know you. If they did they would know that you don't think you are above anyone else. You are the one celebrity (there are few out there) who makes time to talk to you fans. You appreciate us as much as we appreciate you!

Anyway, good luck with the whole halloween party thing you got planned. make sure you post a pic of Ben in his costume!

Hey Ali,

I know how it is. I sit up at night because it's time I get for myself to whine down. So rant on, we are all here to listen. It seems to be my only free time. I have two girls, 2 and 11mo when they go to bed 10:00, I take some time out just for me. The tension has a tendency to build up. I feel you on the getting old thing too, I know you just turned 29, I turn 28 in Dec. A lot of people still tell me I'm young but I can feel it.........the changes, slowly but surly. I never had a problem drinking ice cold beverages from the cup but now I need a straw cuz it just makes my teeth hurt and after I had my first baby my hips have not been the same either.

I think your hubby might be right about it being a little early for the pumpkins to be carved. I do mine no more then 2 days ahead bt you have already carved so just work on preserving them. place a wet paper towel on the inside and make sure it stays wet or use petroleum jelly like someone else suggested. I have carved at least 2 ever since I can remember. I love the Holidays. Martha just posted some templates of rats and bats on her site. She said she blew the rats up 200%. On the show they were life-sized and really creepy against the stairs.

Oh my gosh about that extra room in your...Sami's apartment. I thought I was just tripp’n. I remember Carrie moving into a 2 bedroom too.....wow, if you hadn't of said anything I would have just went along with it. Too, too funny. Sorry to run off at the fingers....I hope your week goes well and good luck with the party. I hope you have lots of fun.

Sorry to hear about the back. :( I understand. I had a car accident a few weeks back and have been going to the chiropractor for my back and neck. It doesn't make it feel better, I just know I have to do it.

And yes, I love how you all are working in the third bedroom that has been a two for what? Ten years or so? LOL

Hello! I'm glad that you had a better day today. :) I think it's great that you have a place where you can rant, that's what we're here for. Hope you and Ben had lots of fun carving pumpkins and I'll be they'll hold up just fine. We did ours about a week early last year and they were still beautiful by Halloween...I think you just want to keep them cool.

I love Target! I missed it so much when I was in college because the nearest one was 2.5 hours away and now that I'm back in a city again and we have one near, they're one of my favorite stores to visit again!

That's funny about them randomly adding rooms...I probably would have just assumed I'd just missed the 3rd bedroom since I haven't been able to watch regularly. I'm sure there are some great SOLE storylines coming up with these new arrangements!

Yea, I enjoyed that scene with Sami getting Austin to move in. And about the 3rd bedroom thing. I've been enjoying the Days scenes lately. They are so awesome and well done put together. I actually took a tour through nbc studios not to long ago with my b/f and kids. I was there August 18th. The day before my birthday. And the tour guy told us everything and about how long people work to set up things for the next day. Those are long hours. And I guess they do a good job, cause over the air, it sure looks realistic. When I was there and actually got to see the furniture, some of it was old and kind of in bad shape from being moved around alot. That happens though. Although you can't tell when it's aired on television. lol And I also got to see Salem Place. And I had my pictures done and my girls to. My b/f took the pictures of us standing outside at Salem Place. It was awesome. I enjoyed the tour. Although, at the time of the tour, all of you were filming, so I wasn't able to meet all of you. Mabe next time.

I seen the recent picture of you and Ben with the pumpkins. He is such a cutie. I'm so happy for you and Dave that you have such a cute little boy. And he's getting so big. I can't believe it already. Time flys by so fast. Babies don't stay little for long. They sure grow fast.

Well I guess I should go and go to bed soon. It's 10:36 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
