yikes. By accident I bought a new weird flavor of Crest toothpaste. I didn't realize it until I was brushing my teeth this morning, super early, and all of a sudden my mouth was filled with this weird lemon flavor. ugh! First of all, it throws you off when you think it's one flavor and it turns out to be another (like thinking you're taking a sip of Club Soda and it turns out to be 7 up or something. yuck) And secondly, I just don't like lemon-flavored toothpaste. Call me old fashioned, I am a minty girl all the way.
I really like cinnamon flavored Altoids though.
Ben is so super cute. He ‘talks’ a lot lately. He practices using his voice all over the place. Yesterday we took him to a really nice beach front restaurant. (It was such a fantastic day yesterday. The weather was beautiful.) Ben was so good the whole time! He smiles and laughs, but he did practice his high-pitched screams a couple of times, luckily not enough to irritate the other customers! He just played with his toys and watched the birds nearby. We had a great day.

Um...YUCK! I didn't even know they made lemon Crest! I like the mint or cinnimon flavored! I do so love cinnimon altoids too! I got hooked on those and was eating them constantly at once point. Always had a can with me. Anyways, lemon would DEF be nasty early in the morning. Anything you aren't expecting TOO early is bad! I once played a practical joke on my step-dad. He asked me to fix him a glass of Mountain Dew so I poured him a glass of Lemon juice. UGH!!!
I love seaside restaurants! I like to just listen to the waves and smell the salt. It's so completely relaxing! The weather was beautiful here all weekend too. I'm afraid it's one of the last before snow comes
So what does Ben say? Has he popped out Mama yet? I bet that is/will be the best!
Thanks for checking in, Ali! Take care!

I too am a mint toothpaste girl. I can't even imagine lemon flavored toothpaste it really sounds yucky.
I am so glad that you had a great day with Ben!!!! Babies do get big so fast. He will already be 2 in February won't he. I can remember Ben's birthday because it is the day after my mom's. We were all hoping that you would have him on her birthday. My mom was the one who got me watching DAYS.

I bought that lemon crest toothpaste also by accident and its lousy! I don't know what made them think that would be a good flavor. The beach side restaurant sounds nice. Especially since its getting cold here in RI.

Hello Ali - It is so good to hear from you again. I'm glad you had such a wonderful day w/your family. The lemon flavored toothpaste sounds very yucky, lol. I hate lemon flavored anything. I can't imagine why Crest would make a toothpaste w/lemon flavor, lol. I'm excited to hear that Ben is baby talking, lol. Has he said, Momma, yet? Take care, Ali!!!!

hehehehehe.......I just had to have a laugh when I first read this:D
I imagined you standing in front of the mirror, yellow froth around your mouth and this foul tasting muck in your mouth.......YICK:eek::D
See, there's a lesson here. Never shop for toothpaste and other things unless you quickly check to see you're buying the right stuff:D
I'm glad Ben is growing up to be a good little boy. How old is he now?? Crazy thing is before you know it, he'll be asking you for the keys to the car cause he has to goto footy practice or what not. I've seen my nephews and nieces grow so fast, it's only yesterday since it seemed like they were nothing more than babes wrapt in baby blankets. One of them is almost 32. Time flies by.
So, the littley is practising with his voice.......singing.......latent opera star.

Hi Ali, You are so sweet to post to your fans. :) Even if it's about toothpaste. LOL
One really great one that I am enjoying.. it's not mint though. It's that new Colgate Luminous in Paradise Fresh. It tastes more sweet than minty, but definitely not lemon and it's supposed to help bring the sparkle back in your teeth. Especially if you are fond of red wine and coffee. :D (like me)
I love that age with babies! Where they start their chatter and squeals. But then I love every age so far with my kids. My daughter is in kindergarten and I love hearing how she is learning, then being the know-it all now, she tells me what I am saying wrong or whatever. LOL Then my son is 13 and believe it or not, I love that age too. he is turning into more of an adult than a kid but still having some fun kid stuff left. I guess it's just the way it goes with moms. :)

Hey Ali, Sorry to hear about your ordeal with the toothpaste lol.. I hate lemon flavour anything as well.. I do enjoy the cinnimon flavor. I tried the Vanilla Mint, bad move it is just gross so don't try that one either lol ;)
I am glad that you had such a great time out with your family, I bet that was a great view you had, and nice weather to boot that is awesome :) We are having yucky weather here, cold, windy, rain and snow how depressing is that.. I hate winter!!!
~~Ben is such a little honey I bet he was a total cutie chatting it up in the restaurant..:) Has he said his first word yet? I bet it will be momma! When that first word comes out it is amazing! :) Anyway it is always great to hear from you! Take care Ali

Hey Ali,
I agree with you. Toothpaste is supposed to be minty!! This is a prime example of when something is perfect as it is, don't change it!! They seem to be coming out with a few different flavors of toothpaste. All in my opinion are just strange!!
Thanks for posting!

I guess I am the odd person out here.
I enjoy the LEMON toothpaste, the CINNAMON toothpaste and the ORANGE one too.
HAHAHAHA
I guess I am REALLY weird -- but hey, my real friends couldn't agree more either. hahaha
Thanks for entertaining us ali on our screens TV and Computer.
Much love

You are not that odd, I too enjoy the other flavor toothpastes because I hate mint...except I do love the Vanilla Mint, mostly because I LOVE Vannilla. It is very refreshing in the morning.
Ali, we took the kids to a seaside resturant this past weekend too, in Oceanside. I love eating at the beach and watching the waves. Except we went at dinner and it was freezing. The weather needs to make up it's mind here in SoCal and pick it to be either hot or cold. We are all getting sick.
i haven't had that problem with toothpaste, but i once thought i was eating graham crackers and they turned out to be salty....man is that a shock to your senses!!

Hey Ali, it's great to hear from you. I have to agree that lemon flavor toothpaste does not sounds good at all. I have tried the other flavors of crest though and they are for the most part pretty good, but the cinnamon is my fave.
I'm so excited to hear about Ben talking all the time. I just love baby babble. They always look so serious when they are saying something and most of the time you have no idea what it is they are saying. It is just the cutest thing.
Thanks for posting Ali, it is always good to hear from you.

I love everything lemon flavored... Just not the lemon itself, LoL! Anyhow, thx for the update. Wonder wot Ben's 1st word will be... ;)
Lemon crest..*ugh*. I can only imagine the expressionon on your face when you realized it. I'm like you, minty all the way! I'm glad you and your family had a nice outing at the restaurant. The weather was nice for the past few days but it's really feeling like fall down here in DC. Ben is speaking..oh my! I love when babies do that high-pitched sounds, like they have soemthing on their mind, but can't quite get it out.. lol It's always great to hear from you Ali.

:) Hi Ali, Lemon flavored toothpaste huh? YUK! That would taste nasty first thing in the morning. Sorry you had to go through that experience. I can understand why you picked up the wrong toothpaste, you probably got distracted by your little boy. That happens though. You'll get alot of that, believe it or not. I had to go through all the distraction in my life. I still do, lol. My girls are handfuls. Glad, that you had a great time out doors with your family. Ben is sure getting huge. Babies don't stay babies very long. They grow so fast. I can remember when my girls were that little. Now one is 13 and the other is 11. They're growing before my own eyes. Well I watched 1 Day With... you and Wally again. This is my 3rd time that I watched it. I can't help it. Last weekend, I watched 1 Day With...Bryan Dattilo twice. Both of you are so funny. Anyway, I'm off to bed. It's 10:29 p.m. PT. Take Care
Your Fan Always
