Hmm, I can't remember 2 but I do think I have a guess for one song. When the door/cage to the store is closing and Hal is rushing to get out, I'm pretty sure it was a song from one of the Indiana Jones movies that was playing.

Hint: the neighbors have more then one gnome we see Lois take one from the front yard when the sprinklers went off and put it in the living room. Before that we see others in the back by the pool. In the episode we see Dewey destroy a gnome you can easily assume there was 1 gnome. But you had to be observant to notice there were multiple gnomes. Dewey is outside celebrating as they packed up and left town by destroying a gnome, but clearly we saw Lois put one inside the house earlier. Although it seems like right away, presumably it took time for them to actually pack up the house and move. Surely Dewey didnt keep that same one around in the house for days while the neighbors packed? What would Lois have done with the gnome in the meantime? (it wasnt actually shown in THIS episode)

Ok so if you were observant in this episode you may have noticed there were multiple gnomes and Dewey destroys 1. You could guess where it ends up if Lois doesnt give it back to them, it is pretty logical. But confirmation of what happens to it comes later in another episode. This is from when Hal is is in the Garage convincing Dewey to help him with his Pearl Harbor memorial a couple years later. It is the exact same gnome Lois carried into the house.

I guess I was thinking more of the "Bus Stop" and "Reserved Parking" signs that are sometimes seen in various places on the wall in the boy's room, sometimes not there at all.
Yea, the posters change and move around some even the "Kyle Petty" poster moves arouind or comes and goes some. But after looking back at some screencaps, I don't see any posters that look "stolen" if it's not the street signs.

First, the episodes are 2x17 "Surgery", and 5x04 "Thanksgiving".

The bedclothes that Malcolm has in the hospital, and the ones behind Reese are the same. Although I can't remember seeing them before in the house. This may be the first and only time they appear there. So, it's something they might have stolen - since they're exactly the same bedclothes - hung it up in their house, not attached to a wall, and not in the boys' room, where you'd think it could be.

I guess, the props guys just put together every sheet they had for Reese's "wall" in the kitchen, overseeing that the family didn't even own this one.

I'm still not sure what you mean. Ussually hospitials only have more or less disposable garments which no one would possibly wear outside the hospitial. Any other garments, such as normal pajamas, patients probably packed and brought with them. Perhaps this is a cultural misunderstanding? Hum, my mistake ... I don't have a imagehack-or-whatever-account, so I thought that would do.

For "bedclothes" I checked an online dictionary; bedclothes in the term of bedding or bed-linen.

Maybe you remember Malcolm's hospital bed, and the pattern of his bedclothes (sheep on blue ground). The exact same one uses Reese to divide the kitchen from the rest of the house in "Thanksgiving" (along with others). You can clearly see them in the scene, where all are ready to eat, and Reese is saying something like "Thank you, God, for letting me express my love for my family in the only way I know, by cooking", they hang right behind him then.

And for your question ... I believe it may have been at Bibi's, she appeared in "Francis Escapes". They may have said something like that (although there is more than one story about Francis' last day at home, and they exclude each other).

As for where Francis slept before he went off to Marlin, I think there is some talk of this in "Grandma Sues". After the kids get over being angry about Lois being pregnent again, I think they suggest something about Reese and Malcolm sharing a bed again. That indicates Francis had the single and leaves Dewey ????????????maybe a dresser drawer or still in the parents room which the reference briefly in "Mono"

jayray54 you got the other question. We see in every episode that Malcolm and Dewey share a full bed and Reese has his own twin. If we think of what happened before Francis left, there was no other bed in the house for him. In Grandma sues we learn that Francis did infact stay in the same room and that Malcolm and Reese shared a bed at that time. From Mono we find out that Dewey also stayed in the room since he was small and they rolled his crib in there. We can only speculate that for the years inbetween when Dewey was to big for a crib he must have had a rollaway bed, air matress, or maybe just a sleeping bag.

No, its not the for sale signs but, picturing the section of the street Malcolm, Dewey and Reese walk down on the way to school and comparing it to a street scene in "Cliques" should help.

The other thing is I think usually the sidewalk is not right on the road but it is separated by a patch of grass and in some places, trees. Are you sure that shot is supposed to be right next to thier house? At different times we see them in the neihborhood and they are on streets the might look like that. But RYE is right about what it is like near 12334 Maple Rd.

You don't see it in the cap above but at the far end of the street there's a rather sharp curve. I've seen Hal run up and down the location house street enough times to remember the street as perfectly straight.
