She came walking in holding a book close to her heart. She said mom when you are ready I
want you to see what my fans gave me. I said so let's see, she handed me a book, "a book of love". Well both Tom and I read each and every letter and cried. Where do I begin to say how blessed we all are to have each other. We have all been thru many up's and down’s, but we all know that we have other people to think of. First things first.......Happy 37th wedding anniversary Lin and Tom:D:D I hope you both have many more happy and wonderful years together.

Your family, and especially Alyssa, are very very special. You and Tom have instilled into a young lady probably the most important aspect of being human......and that's unconditional love. Lyssie has grown over the years into someone whom has managed to touch the lives of so many people, and given them the courage to live.....which is more than most do in a hundred lifetimes. In my 6 years here, at both SafeSearching and at the GreenRoom, I have come to know the both of you, through your posts and in those rare times we've spoken individually to one another, as two of the most kind, compassionate and caring women I have had the pleasure to know. You both have a great sense of humour and an outlook on life which it would do well for many others to emulate.

I am very happy to hear that our present to Lyssie has touched all of you. I guessed i must of missed a few post as i missed the birthday greeting one i think then again i may have posted i have been so busy getting things sorted with university and getting a job that i can not remember if i posted or not. if this scots head was not screwed on it would be ugly.Anyway im glad alyssa liked her gift just as much as us fans enjoy doing this type of thing for her because she is a true inspiration to us all. She is so kind hearted to everyone in her life whether its towards her family, to us here on the board or not and the charities that she works for it makes us feel honoured to be her fans.Not all celebrities are as down to earth and big hearted as alyssa so they should observe her and see what a true and loving person should be She is not someone who does it for the media attention she does because she loves with all her heart and it makes me feel proud. Especially how she and her mom has done this site which makes us all feel like one big family where we all respect each other and are here for one thing our love for alyssa and the great person she is. Im 21 and its great to read some of the most inspiring threads whether they are for alyssa or each other. I been in the hospital having surgery so I havent been able to log on in a while. Happy Anniversery!! Happy New Year!!! Im a big fan of Alyssa & Holly & now the new girl in charmed. I recently started reading the books in the hospital & I have season 1 & 2 on DVD!!! You all are real great. I love this site & all the people on it. You all are very friendly!!! Glad Alyssa got the book of love. Steve worked very hard putting it all together. He deserves credit for all his hard work. Although I did not mention you in my letter to Alyssa, I want you to know that I hold you dear to my heart as well. Your one of my first on-line friends. I've watched safesearching grow and grow and the message boards evolve over time. Your responsible for everything I love soo much about being affiliated with AJM/Safesearching. Your my Mama Mia, my on-line friend and board mentor. And I want to tell you that you did a great job with your family. Cory is following in his Dads footsteps with his music interest. Alyssa is a compasionate, hardworking, caring person who will make a great Mother for your grandchildren. She will be a great wife for some lucky man. i think that it is so nice that all ur family comes together in such a nice celebration. i have only joined so i could not sign the book of love i wish i could have signed earlier. i think that it is so great that alyssa has time to come and visit her family even with her job at charmed and helping other people she is so thoughtful. you have raised a wonderful daughter she is amazing and so thoughtful
