Is anyone else going to have a blue Christmas this year? I hate to be depressing, but this is the Depression forum, so here goes..

My family is headed down to Florida this year to visit my brother and his new wife, so they won't be in town for the holidays. I was invited to go down there, but work beckons. As if it couldn't get any worse, my significant other is now my "ex". I still have my friends and all, but what is X-Mas and New Years for that matter without being with the people you love?

Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out. Thanks for listening.. :o

aww im so sorry, i think all of us has that one christmas that we spend away from family and loved ones. i had mine a while back when both my nan and grandad died (we always used to have them round for xmas) aswell as my dad walking out a few months before.

i hope that u find someone to spend it with, but if not im almost certain it will be better for u next year, just look on the bright side of things, u still have ur family that care about u :D

i hope this helps, and try and enjoy what u do have,
sammy :)

Remember that no matter where in the world your family members are, they love you. Im sure you'll talk to them on the phone on xmas day and new years. If you need to talk im just a pm away.
Hugs

Thanks Pooh & Sammy! :) I don't know what got into me yesterday, I was just feeling down in the dumps. I try not to complain, but X-Mas is my favorite time of year. I guess it could be worse.

Yeah, look on the bright side of things and try to stay positive. I wasn't looking forward to christmas this year because I have to spend it with my dads side of the family and my mums side-this always causes arguments because my mum doesn't like me and my sister visiting him and his girlfriend. Even when being stuck in the middle, i'm not going to let this ruin christmas for myself or the rest of my family. I'm sure something great will happen to you at christmas and everyone else, just forget your worries and have a great christmas :)

don't worry it catches up with the happiest of people at times :) sometimes complaining is a good thing, it stops things from building up into worse things so don't feel bad about it :D

do u have any pets u can share some turkey with???:p
