New Idea! (and one which I think many will like)
As most of you know, I work in a department store. Tonight I was putting things away when I overheard two children arguing over an X-Box controller, as it was the last one on the shelf. They reminded me of Malcolm and Reese the way they wanted it. It then came to me that we should have a 'One time at work thread' where we'd all post things we've seen (at work, at school, heck even at the park!) that remind us of Malcolm and Reese and their day to day encounters. Does anyone have any  stories? :D
As always, please keep our posting policies in mind as you post your story. Remember, Safety First!

me and my roommates at times act this way, but who our age doesn't, lol. But I have no stories since I have a terrible memory I inherited from my dad. heck that reminds me that my dad is sometimes like Hal, lol

LOL great idea Shaun!! I don't have any stories that I can remember at the moment but one thing, me and my sisters' antics remind me of malcolm and reese (me being malcolm and her being reese lol) we fight over the most ridiculous, childish things! She's always using her fists to resolve the problem and i'm always trying to outsmart/reason with her...because she's scarily stronger than me  she may be a little more intelligent than reese (and I mean a little :D) but she's still as much of a bully as him!

There are so many events in mitm that happen in my family. One thing that springs to mind when I was younger, I had the same attitude that Reese had in earlier seasons.' The episode in season 2 "Reese cooks" is a good example. At the start he does something bad (I think he goes crazy cutting someones hair), but soon after that Lois and Hal are lecturing him and trying to give him a punishment. But everything that they throw at him he says "I'm already grounded" or when Hal and Lois struggle to find a punishment he says "How long is this going to take?" That was the exact same attitude that I had when I was younger, the same facial expressions too. My parents would even react to me the same way that Hal and Lois did. :D
I can't remember exactly what I did, but I remember once my parents were trying to find a punishment, starting off with "your grounded" I said something like "I still have to serve another month from my last grounding, does this new grounding mean 2 months from now or 2 months after the last one ends?" I think that this would really annoy them. :D But they are a smart pair and they did exactly what Hal and Lois did with stopping Reese from cooking, but intentionally they found something that I enjoyed or enjoyed doing, probably going to the pool every weekend and they use to stop me going when I was bad. :D
