I'm fairly new here...
I have been an Alyssa Milano fan for one year. I loved her wonderful acting on Who's the Boss (the other cast members are great, too, though, but Alyssa was always my favorite). I started looking for info on her, and my eyes got watery because of the amount of love she shows. Very few celebs are like that.
So, a quick summary of me:
1. Kimana fanatic. I am engaged to Kim "Kimana" Cummins (she wants her name to change to Kimana because she doesn't like "Kimberly"). She is profoundly deaf from child abuse, but she is an excellent lipreader. She taught me sign language (almost everything I know, in fact)
2. I have good hearing. (Seriously.)
3. I am a GNU/Linux fan. It is a free operating system (both price and freedom). www.linux.org www.gnu.org
4. I am an active member on two other forums (at the time of this posting): http://slashdot.org and http://www.ubuntuforums.org -- both are computer-centric
5. This is my first non-computer-related forum I have been a real member of.
6. My role models are Alyssa Milano and Richard Stallman. Richard Stallman is the leader of the Free Software Foundation and has strong beliefs that users of computer software should not be dominated in any way by the author(s) of that software, and that spreading useful information should be encouraged. See http://www.fsf.org and http://www.gnu.org for more info on this.
7. I have written a few free/open-source computer programs. My future wife is my Windows port maintainer for the following reason:
8. I refuse to use Microsoft Windows. Yup, it's true. I'm a Bill Gates hater. He got credit for his phony humanitarian stuff, but I think Alyssa should have gotten the award instead.
9. My favorite TV shows are from the 50s-80s. My absolute favorites are I Love Lucy, ALF, Who's the Boss, the Cosby Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
