OCD & Bipolar Depression

I recently found out that one of my friend's kids has been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as well as Bipolar Depression.

Does anyone know of a good book that would maybe help my friend, specifically on parenting with a child that has these conditions?

Any help that you guys could give would be great.

I don't know of any names of any but have you tried looking on internet sites like amazon for books? Maybe they will have something that is useful :confused: Sorry I can't help anymore :(

You may want to suggest, Kit, a book called "What to do when your child has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: Strategies and Solutions" which basically tells you the parent how to cope with it, what to expect, etc.


As for the Bipolar Depression, I'm not sure which book to get, but nip down to your local book shop and have a flick through some books :) You're sure to find something there.
