I thought I'd start a discussion on the Season Finale. All I know about it is that a plane crash will take place and Melinda will have to help them cross over and also the bird from the credits (the one that hatches from the egg) will appear on a clock tower. To me I think they are trying to explain why the credits are what they are like how in "The Vanishing" Melinda has a dream about a Tiger and if you look closely the forest is the same one from the credits the only thing different was Melinda's dress and hair. So what do you guys think?

Aha! So THIS is the episode that James van Praagh had mentioned months ago....with
dozens of people led into the light by "Melinda"...

But the TV Guide for this week (Apr. 14) shows a repeat episode...the "comedy club"...

So when is this season finale?

Good idea for a thread, Jeffrey. I just added Spoilers to your thread title as some members may not want to read about the episode before it airs. Thanks for the info!

So when is this season finale?

10thdaylogistic posted the other day that the two-part season finale is scheduled to air on April 28th and May 5th.

van Praagh also mentioned these specific airdates on Entertainment tonight last week (I finally saw my recorded playback a couple of nights ago) so it sure looks positive for those two airing dates. Very interesting points you make, I hadn't played back last week's episode yet, I better get on it. I can't wait to see how it goes, we'll surely have a cliffhanger or sorts.

If you want to find out any information about a favourite tv show, the best place to go is this site:

I have provided a link to the specific Ghost Whisperer page so that you can see the two airdates for the last two episodes (a link to a full episode guide is included). This is the site I use for my info most of the time.

That doesn't sound so far fetched. I can think of a couple of episodes where the opening credits could figure into an episode. The photo where Melinda turns and looks to her right could be a reference to where she had to help the twin sisters. And the miltary guy figured into the pilot episode. And the child with the bees (the boy who died from bee stings). Perhaps at the end where you see the people milling about is a reference to the plane crash survivors. There's bound to be some meaning to the house with the single light on. I'd have to go back through the old shows to make a guess.

Note that important stuff seems to happen IN THE FOREST.

That forest seems to be an integral part of the GW "formula"...

Let's hope this 2-parter succeeds....sounds complicated....

It will easily succeed, it will likely throw us into a big cliffhanger for next season too. I doubt they'll make anything too complicated, maybe just mysterious, they'll want to keep us coming back for more.

That could be a good thing, I would personally like to see some more involved complex storylines. I predict that the 2 part season finale will be very nicely done and exciting.

MELINDA IS HAUNTED BY THE SPIRITS OF AN AIRLINE PILOT AND FLIGHT ATTENDANT BEFORE THEIR JETLINER CRASHES OUTSIDE OF TOWN IN PART ONE OF THE TWO-PART FIRST SEASON FINALE OF "GHOST WHISPERER," FRIDAY, APRIL 28
