Monday Night

I hope everyone enjoyed their three-day-weekend!! I know I sure did. And I was so lazy yesterday. Dave, unfortunately, had to work on Sunday and Monday, so the puppies and I hung out at the house. I got caught up on a lot of work I needed to do, and I got some errands done.
I know this sounds weird, but I absolutely love grocery shopping. (no, I don't cross the picket lines). But seriously, it is the most calming thing. I walk up and down every aisle. I'm learning to be better about shopping for the week for dinner and stuff. Its always hard to plan out my meals because I work such crazy hours. You know, I can't believe I'm sitting here elaborating on my grocery shopping habits.
Right now I'm watching Average Joe: Hawaii. I absolutely love this show. Tonight she's doing the 'disguise'. I can't wait to see what the guys reaction to her is.
How great was the Couples Fear Factor episode? Those tarantulas were soooo gross!!! Can you imagine? (They've mentioned Fear Factor a couple of times in scripts since I did the show. It always makes me laugh when the writers reference that.)
Alright, well the commercial break is over. back to the show!

Actually, I love grocery shopping too... and I agree, it's calming in a way. Occasionally I'll offer to make dinner around here when my mom doesn't feel like cooking and I love to go to the store and get everything! So Ali, you're not the only one that likes it! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey, thanks for posting Ali. A day hanging with the puppies sounds wonderful! We brought our puppies down to South Laguna Beach by the new Montage Hotel. It is drop dead gorgeous, beautifully landscaped on the water. Probably the most beautiful spot on the California coast. Even the water fountains had puppy water fountains at ground level.

Hey Ali! The banks and post offices were closed yesterday but everything else was open. I like to grocery shop too! Most of the time tho my hubby and I do it together. When you go to the store is there anyone that sees you and say "Hey! Your Sami!" lol Well...time to get my daughter on the bus for school...you know...the schools were in yesterday but they get out for Mardi Gras the 23rd and the 24th...I never really have understood why that is so. Anyways...hope everyone has a great day today...I'm looking forward to see my fave show Days and see LUMI!

I didn't get a 3 day weekend. I was working on Monday, actually, barely working but AT work. lol.

Average Joe is a good show... I have it recorded on Tivo, started watching it like at 1am last night but fell asleep so I will finish it today.

You can share your grocery habits with us anytime. lol. I go through every aisle and find stuff to fill my cabinets and fridge. I don't plan my meals. I should though, sometimes I don't even cook at all. It's difficult to cook for yourself (I'm single now, so I'm alone at the apartment).

Anywho, I'm glad you stopped by and hope to see you online again soon!

I feel cheated, most people had a three day weekend and I had to go to school yesterday and had three major tests (Biology at 8 am, Spanish at 9 am and Theatre History at 10 am) Oh well, I'll get over it /images/graemlins/grin.gif I like to grocery shop as well. I'm addicted to reality tv too. I was a little disappointed that Michael went. I know he's a bad seed but at least he was honest. You know what you're getting with him. I mean, BAD HANDS?? WTH was that about? LMAO! I'm not impressed with Gil, he doesn't even seem attracted to her. I LOVE James though. Poor Tony! To say that she chose the others for their looks was low though. It's obvious she isn't doing that. If she was, Tony would have stayed last night! I wasn't gonna watch this one, the Hawaii one, but I got hooked with the preview of her face when she saw the first group. LOL
Fear Factor Couples!! Woohoo! I rooted for them from day one! She was so cute and tiny, reminds me of myself, maybe that's why! LOL I was a little disappointed that Meg didn't even try. I don't know if I would do it, personally, but she was there, that's why she signed up. /images/graemlins/confused.gif I can't believe Adam didn't freak out on her...well, not that we saw anyway. LOL They don't match. The show might prove that to them. Can you imagine how they feel watching themselves..what they say to eachother? Whoa!

Well, we had Friday off as well as yesterday and today for "mid-winter" break. Don't ask me why that's necessary. We get a lot of random days off...I'd rather just go to school now and get out earlier in June. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Glad to hear that you got some well deserved time off. Not sure if I would spend mine grocery shopping or not. I used to love it, but I refuse to go anywhere but Wal-Mart now and it's always so hectic.

I was a little disppointed in the Fear Factor couples finaly, I was rooting for the couple that had hardly won anything. It was so hard to watch that poor girl freaking out over the "plastic tomb of freakiness". I really felt for her. I think I could have pulled it off, as long as their were no rats involed. Rats are my big phobia.

Days has been so good the last few weeks, I am on a Lumi high. Great job Ali!

Thanks for making grocery shopping sound fun Ali. Maybe it will encourage me to have fun next time I go. I'm so cranky at my grocery store now I'm looking for a new one that's got more help and less wait time in line. We saw that Average Joe last night. It was a good show. I've never seen it before. My husband thought that was so cool her desquise. I did too. It's funny I thought of Stefano, when he did his desquises on Days, during the show. When she took her mask off reminded me of when Stefano did that on Days. I mainly watch Bachelorette or Bachelor and I've watched Survivor the first few years. That makes me want to ask someone here what Ali's favorite reality show is? I think it was Survivor. I know she said before but I can't remember. I think Bachelorette is mine.

I SO love FF and The Average Joe! I will not miss The Average Joe,Survivor or LUMI for ANYTHING! I tape all three. I do like FF but if I miss a show, no big deal. If I miss the others (Mainly Lumi)I will flip out bigtime LOL They cut through a part of todays show where Lumi were getting hot and heavy. Made me so mad! I really had a bad temper tantrum like I was 10 years old again LOL I also LOVE to grocery shop! I swear! LOL It's VERY relaxing and fun picking out things. I have to grab all the soap mags in the isles! I think(well, I know) they put them there for us soap addicts just like they make sure most of the candy is there too because they know alot of kids cry and moan and bug their mommys to get them candy before leaving and the moms are so busy, they just end up caving and giving in and saying "OK OK" LOL

LOL I did absolutely nothing Sunday and Monday also. And unfortunately my b/f had to work on presidents day also. About the grocery shopping thing goes, I usually am the one that goes shopping most of the time. My b/f waits out in the car or he'll come back and pick me up cause I don't drive. We figured since he's always working, that I mise well do the shopping and it's so much easier if one person goes in instead of the whole entire family going in. LOL Besides he doesn't know what things to get for me. LOL You know guys.

Although I do watch Fear Factor when I know a soap celeb is going to be on there. I love the show The Apprentice. That show and American Top Model. I have not really gotten into American Idol this year. The talent doesn't seem as good with the exception of Diana and Franchasa(Ms. High Point, North Carolina got to represent the Carolinas)...I'm glad Ali you had a great 3 day weekend. Mine was blessed although I had to work on Monday. I'm beginning to really like my new position at my job now, although only as a contract worker, I don't know how long it will last. Thus far about a year and a half with a couple promotions. I still want to in the future have my own business.
