I went to see this film last week and thought it was really quite good, it is alot better than it sounds and i would recomend it..
Synopsis:
Inspired by the true story of Pierre Dulaine, ‘Take the Lead’ revolves around a Manhattan dance teacher who volunteers to take on a group of wayward inner-city kids on detention and school them in the ways of ballroom dancing. The kids are initially sceptical, but eventually embrace his teaching methods and are soon fusing old-fashioned ballroom steps with modern hip hop moves. They then take on their biggest challenge yet by entering a prestigious ballroom contest.
