Please Pray for Us

Early this morning (Monday, May 8) the ceiling and roof collapsed at the store my wife and I own and operate. After over 15 years in business, we are now without a business or an income.

I hope to start teaching high school this fall, so things should be okay.

We ask for your prayers to get us through this. I know that all of Karen's friends and fans are special people, that is why I am asking.

Thanks to everyone for your support. When I went back in today, the damage was even worse than it first seemed. However, the good news appears to be that insurance should cover much of it.

:) Thanks for all of your concern. We are doing well, and it looks like the insurance will come through in a few months. In the meantime I have tons of paperwork and cleanup.

I am still hoping to start teaching high school this fall. To start the process, I take a licensing test this Saturday. I only need to know, remember, and be able to use all the math that would ordinarily be covered in a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics -- no problem :rolleyes: .
