I wrote this a few years ago...it could probably have more added, I just have never added on. I have to reply to this with part of it, because of it's length....

Prologue
*Phone Ringing*
“Hello?” was the greeting given after answering the phone. “Whit? Hey. Guess what?!?” “What have you done this time, Theresa?” Whitney asked. “WHIT! How can you say that to your best friend!?” “I’m sorry, Theresa, but it was a reflex. You had the ‘Oops! I did it again’ tone to your voice. I tell you what, why don’t you come over here and tell me what this is all about. Ok?” “Alright, Whit. I’ll be over in a few, bye.” “Ok, see you then, bye.”
*Both girls hang yo their phones. About 5-10 minutes later…..*
*Knock, knock*
Whitney opens the front door to the Russell house, and the two girls, as usual, walk up to Whitney’s room. “Now, you want to tell me what this is all about?” Theresa, going through Whitney’s closet, “Whit, I need to borrow something exquesite!” A confused Whitney asks, “Why?” “Because I have a date!” squeals an excited Theresa. Whitney replys, “Let me guess, you decided to move on now that Gwen and Ethan got back together?” An almost annoyed Theresa responds, “No! Ok, yeah Gwen and I are friends again and I am ready to move on so I decided to.” “Oh, I see. Borrow whatever you like. It’s all up to you.” “Thanks! Whit!”
“Not a problem, Theresa. Hey, what are friends for, anyway.” “So true, Whit, so true.”

Chapter 1 - Getting Ready For The Date
There was a knock at the front door of the Lopez-Fitzgerald home at 6:30 p.m. the following day. Luis got up from the couch, where he was sitting, and talking with his fiancee, Sheridan Crane. He opened the door, and to his surprize, it was his best friend, Hank Bennett, looking like he was ready for a date.
“Hank, whatcha doin’ here……I, uh I’m sorry, Hank, where’s my manners, hey, how are you? Why do you look like your ready for a date?” A puzzled Luis asked.
“Sorry to spring this on ya, buddy, but I’m here to pick up Theresa. For our date. Is she ready?” was Hank’s reply.
“Theresa? Your date? You’re going out with my baby sister?” Hank replied “Yes, Luis. She’s a great person. She’s warm and caring and, well, she’s hot. I asked her out and she said yes, so is she ready yet?” “I’ll check, so I’ll be right back.” Luis went to Theresa’s bedroom and lightly knocked on the door and she lightly replied, “come in.”
“Since when did you go out with my friend?” Luis asked. “Oh my gosh! Hank’s here, ALREADY?!?!? And I’m nowhere near ready…” “Theresa, answer me!” Luis demanded. “Huh? Oh, if you must know, I am now ready to move on with my life, afterall, Gwen and I are friends again plus she and Ethan got back together. Hank asked me out and I said yes. I’ve known him all of my life and he’s a great guy.” Luis responded, “Theresa, I know Hank’s a great guy, he is my best friend, but he is a womanizing-heartbreaker. He’s broken the heart of many women, and then the next day move on tothe next victim. I just don’t want to see it happen to you. I’m just looking out for you. Yes, he’s my best friend, and I love him, like a brother, but if he hurts you, with God as my witness, I will beat the living **** out of his hard-working ***!”

Chapter 2 - And The Date Begins
Theresa sprayed on some perfume and walked out of her bedroom, right behind Luis. Hank looked on in amazement.
“Wow! Theresa you look gorgeous…I mean, you’re always gorgeous, but, man, you look amazing!” A blushing Theresa replied, “Thank you, Hank. You don’t look half-bad yourself.” A still bewildered Luis asked, “You two…..why didnt you say something first. I had no idea ya liked each other.” “Luis, buddy, you know my track record. I didn’t think you’d let Theresa go out with me and I really want to give a possible relationship with her a chance. I think we’d be great together. That’s what tonight is all about — seeing if there is any chemestry between us. I seriously think that this is just what I need to ‘turn over a new leaf’. You know that I’ve been trying to change my ways lately…’grow up a little’ and I think the best way to do that, is to go out with a different kind of woman. Not the cheap, easy, one-timer tramps that I used to be into, not anymore. Now I want a real woman; A classy, intelligent, sweet, good-natured woman. Someone that I can have a REAL relationship with. Someone that just might be ‘the one’. I want what you and Sheridan have, and, by george, I’m gonna go out and get it.”
Theresa added, “Luis, I agree. You and Sheridan have a rock-solid realtionship…I thought that’s what I had with Ethan, but I was wrong. I think there could be something between Hank and I and the only way we are ever gonna know for sure is if we go out.” “Theresa, Hank, if you guys want what Sheridan and I have and think you might find it with each other, and want to go out on a date to find out for sure, then why are you still standing here talking about it with me? Go on. Get out of here.”
Hank then helped Theresa on with her coat, and as they said their goodbyes to Luis and Sheridan. Theresa leaned up on her toes and and gave her big brother a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek.

Chapter 3 - The Date
Hank opened Theresa’s car door for her. “Theresa, I’m really glad Luis didn’t try to stop us. I really think we might have something great here.” Hank got in on the other side and Theresa said, “Hank, I totally agree. I’m totally glad that he didn’t try to keep us from seeing each other. I really think there could be something her between us. So, where are we going?” Hank had a smug look on his face and simply replied, “Now, that is you’re suprise, Theresa.” They drove around for a little while and then pulled into a parking space at the Lobster Shack. Hank quickly got out and raced over to open her door. He put his arm around her and they walked inside. The host seated them at a cosy corner table with their menus. After deciding on their meals and ordering, Theresa said, “You know, I’m really friends with Gwen again. And Ethan too. And what makes it all even better, Ivy and I are on good speaking terms again, plus she and mama renewed their friendship.”
After the waiter brought their order Hank said, “I’m really glad you’re so happy, Theresa. Happiness suits you, it really does. And it’s completely obvious, when you’re happy, you beam.”
Theresa replied, “Thank you, Hank.” “No need to thank me for the truth, Theresa, but, your welcome.”
After they finished eating and the check was paid for, they left the Lobster Shack and went to the Book Cafe. They went up to the counter where their friends, Chad and his girlfriend (Theresa’s best friend) Whitney, were standing. “Oh, what can I get you guys?” Chad asked. As Theresa whispered into Hank’s ear, he responded, “Two Espressos.” Chad replied, Coming right up, man.” When their drinks were ready, they walked over to one of the Book Cafe’s cosy couches and sat down. Theresa began, “I’ve told you about my thoughts and feelings and you already know that I want to go back to work for Ivy, because I love working with fashion. Tell me about you’re hopes and dreams.” “Well, someday I want a family. But, as for short-term, next week I’m going to take the police entrance exam. I really hope I can pass it. After working with the FBI, helping Sheridan escape the drug cartel, I realized, I really enjoy police work.”
“Well, Hank, I’ll be rooting for ya” Theresa responded. Not realizing how late it was getting, Chad came over and said, “Um, you guys are gonna have to get goin’. It’s time for me to close the place up for the night.”
Theresa and Hank didn’t realize it was midnight already. “Oh! God, Theresa, I can’t believe it’s so late we’ve been sitting here talking for 6 hours!” Hank drove her home, and walked her to the door and he paused and said, “I had the best night of my life tonight, Theresa.” “Me too, Hank.”
Hank leaned in to give her a goodnight kiss and on her right cheek he gave her the sweetest, most gentle kiss that she’d ever received. Then they both said goodnight and as she opened the front door, he walked to his car. She entered her house, closed the door, and with a big smile on her face, she leaned against it, and gave a big happy sigh.

Chapter 4 - Will You Marry Me?
“Mornin’ Mama!” Theresa said as she bounced into the kitchen at 9 a.m. “Good morning, Theresa. I must say you’re absolutely beaming.” Theresa replied, “Well, Mama, today is a very special day. It’s the 18 month anniversary of my very first date with Hank.” “Oh, I see, sweetie. Well, how are you this morning?” Just as Theresa opened her mouth to answer her mother, there was a knock at the front door. Instead of answering her mother, Theresa said, “I’ll get the door Mama.” When she opened the door, Theresa was met wih a suprise. “Hank, what are you doing her so early in the morning? Come in, come in.” After Hank closed the door behind him, he dropped down to one knee in front of his beloved girlfriend and said, “Theresa, sweetheart, you know that I love you more than life itself. I would walk to the end of the galaxy for you.
You, darling, are the air I breathe, the water I drink, and the sun that lights my day. I adore the ground you walk on. It would be a dream come true to spend the rest of my life with you as my wife.” Hank paused. He reached into his pocket and got out a little gray velvet box. He opened it, revealing a shimmering, sparkling diamond ring. He then continued, “Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, will you marry me?” With tears in her eyes, Theresa responded, “YES! I will Hank!!” They kissed and he slipped the ring upon her finger.
They walked hand-in-hand to the kitchen where Luis, Sheridan, Pilar and Migel were sitting, waiting for them so breakfast could begin. Theresa announced, “Before we begin breakfast, Hank and I have an announcement. We’re ENGAGED!!!!!” Theresa squealed and showed off her ring to Pilar and Sheridan. Sheridan said, “Now we can have that double wedding we’ve always wanted.”
Luis and Miguel looked at Hank and Luis said, “Hank, buddy, welcome to the family.” Then they sat down for breakfast.

Chapter 5 - The Bachlor Party
Since childhood Luis and Hank have been best friends. They have also always been friends with Beth Wallace. It was an airy evening, Hank was sitting at home in the home-ey and moderate apartment he has lived in by himself for the past 5 years. Hank was reading his favorite book, which he placed his bookmark in and glanced at the clock. It was 6:45pm. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Hank got up to answer the door, and to his surprize the person knocking on his was none other than Beth Wallace.
Hank and Beth was up on the sofa, talking, and before they knew it, it was midnight. Beth didn’t need to go home anytime soon, the next day was her day off, so she continued talking and laughing it up with Hank. After she took a sip of her hot cocoa, some foam was left on her upperlip. Hank leaned foreward to wipe the foam off her lip, and she leaned in and they started kissing. This was the most sweet, passionate kiss Beth has had since she was engaged to Luis after they graduated high school. Hank can’t remember ever feeling like this for another woman before. True he’s had his flings, but this could be the real thing. Hank may truely, for once, be in love.
All of a sudden, Hank pulls away, and says. “Beth, we shouldn’t be doing this. You and I are friends, and I’m engaged to Theresa.” “Hank, I know and you’re right. But who knows you better than I? I don’t mean to come off wrong, but how naive can you be? Haven’t you noticed There’s still is, and always will be, in love with Ethan.” “Beth, I know. I see it, too. He may be my nephew, but when I asked her to marry me, she said yes. All I’ve ever wanted is what Sam has. He and Ivy finally found their way back together, have a loving family together, and a great life with one another. That’s what I want. Maybe Theresa’s the person to help me achieve this goal.” Beth let out a frustrated sigh. “Hank, what if she’s not. Then this marriage would just be ruining the lives of everyone involed.”
Hank knew what Beth was saying was true. But there was one thing from his past that just seams to keep creeping back into his life like death is unavoidable. He knew what it was. It was that night from The Blue Note. When he and beth were hanging out and he made a pass at her. He knew she and Luis were a couple. But eversince they were 13 years of age, Hank has always had the biggest crush on Beth. But he was never man enough to admit his feelings to Luis. But that night when Beth left The Blue Note, it was dark, and she never knew who the true identity of the man that raped her was. But Hank knew. And he’s been trying to find a way to prove it since. Now that he’s a cop, he thinks he can. And then maybe he can finally forgive himself for what Beth has gone through. And maybe he can be happy again. One thing this night has shown him is that Beth is the woman he was destined to be with. Not Theresa. Maybe someday he will have the guts to explain what has happened tonight, tell Theresa why he was unfaithful with Beth. With that, he whisked Beth off to his bedroom, to make passionate, romantic love to her, like he has wanted to for 15 years.
Hank can’t believe it’s been four months since his romantic rendezvous with Beth. Hank and Theresa’s wedding day is almost here, butterflies where in his stomach, not because the wedding, but other things. But tonight he is still a single man. As Hank gets ready for his bachelor party that Luis (as his bestfriend, and best man) has planned. Hank looked at his antique clock. It was 8:45pm. He still has 15 minutes before Luis is schedualed to pick him up and take him to Pete’s Pool Hall (Harmony’s Pool Hall). Since Hank had some time, he decided to look through the Harmony Herald (the town’s newspaper), there was nothing of interest in it, no real news happening around town. When he got through the paper, he checked his clock. “Luis should be here at anytime” Hank thought. Just then, there was three steady knocks then, the door opened swiftly, and Luis emerged. “Ready to go, pal?” With that, Hank stood up, grabed his jacket and said, “I’ve been ready for fifteen minutes, buddy.”

Luis and Hank walked into Pete’s Pool Hall and all of their friends were already there. Hank was immediately greeted by Sam, his older brother. “Luis may have arranged the bachelor party, but I provided the entertainment. Believe me little brother, you won’t believe what I’be arranged for you, during your last night as a single man.” Sam said as he shook his brother’s hand and they hugged. Hank may be 20 plus years yonger than his brother, but Sam and Hank are as close and two brothers can be. Sam looked at his watch, it was already 9:15pm. Time to introduce the “entertainment”. Everyone ventured to the stools at the bar and took a seat, all but Sam, who jumped up onto the bar and announced the “entertainment staff”, so to speak. “Alright gentlemen, now it’s the time we’ve all been waiting for. I bet you wouldn’t expect this from your police chief, but now I introduce to you: Barbie!” As Sam stepped to the right and jumped down from the bar, a beautiful woman emerged from a curtain. She was six feet in height, baby blue eyes, long blonde hair pulled up in a bun, and everything a man would dream as a boy to end up with. She was wearing a Harmony P.D. uniform. As Barbie disrobed, Hank thought to himself. Why would they hire a stripper? What could Sam have been thinking? Hank turned to Sam and whispered, “What possessed you? You would never have done this sort of thing before. What would Ivy say if she knew you paid a woman to take her clothes off at my bachelor party?” Sam simply replied, “Ivy wrote out Barbie’s check.” All of the guys laughed at Sam and Hank. Through Hank’s laughter, he couldn’t forget the night he spent making lustful love with Beth - she was on his mind twenty-four seven as if she never left it. It’s hard to believe it has already been four months. He just hopes they didn’t conceive a child. If they did, that would really hurt Theresa, and in return, Luis would hurt him for hurting her. And that would be a problem Hank, Beth, or anyone in Harmony would not want that to happen.

Chapter 6 - The Bomb
It was a sunny Saturday morning, the sun was pretty bright for 9 am. Hank had been up for an hour. Who could afford to sleep in late on their wedding day?
He chose to wear jeans and a t-shirt to help with the final touches; help Sam make sure everything was in order and ready for the blessed event. Hank, Luis and Sam have overseen the setup for the reception, which would take place in the Harmony Park, and talked with Father Lonagan. Everything seams to be right in order and right on schedual, so Hank went to his changing room to get into his tux. Just as he was to leave the room and go back into the chapel, his cell phone began to ring. So he turned back around, and answered it. “Hello?” he asked. “Hi Hank, it’s Beth. I know you must be pretty busy with today being your wedding day to Theresa and all, but we REALLY need to talk. It’s quite important and it’s something that should be done in person…” Hank cut Beth off, “Beth, it’s alright. Just come down to St. Margaret Mary’s Church. I’m in the first room to the right.” “Thanks Hank. I’ll be right over.” They both hung up, and while he was waiting, Hank made sure all of his buttons were tight and that his tie was straight. Five minutes after the phone call ended, there was a knock on the door to the Groom’s Changing Room. Hank replied, “It’s open.” Beth opened the door and entered and closed the door. “Hank, I think for this we should both sit down.” Hank felt a little taken aback. “It’s that serious huh?” he said, half joking. Beth nodded. Hank motioned for the sofa. They sat down and Beth swallowed, hard. Hank this isn’t easy for me to say, especially since you’re getting married in less than 90 minutes. But I can’t let you go into this wedding without hearing the truth. I found out this morning that I’m pregnant.” Hank, totally shocked replied, “y-y-you’re pregnant? And you’re totally positive that it’s mine?” Beth calmly, yet defensively replies, “yes,Hank. You’re the only man that I’ve had sexual relations with in 2 years. So I’m 100% sure that the night we made love, we conceived a child. I know this comes to you as a shock, especially since you and Theresa are getting married today, but what are we going to do?” “I don’t know Beth. I mean, I will definately be there for you and our child, there’s no doubt about that, but how can I break a wedding off with Theresa on the day of the ceremony?” “Tell Luis the truth and he can help you call it all off. I know you’ll be out of the money spent on it, but are you willing to still marry her?” “Yes, I am. I made a commitment to her, and I intend on keeping it. You and I both know she will understand. After the ceremony I will tell her the truth. She will be our child’s stepmother and she will care for it just like she does her own son.” As Beth leaves, she mumbles under her breath, “we’ll just see about that. You will marry ME and raise OUR child together. NO MATTER WHAT!”
Soon after Beth left, it was time for Hank to get ready for the wedding. He made sure he had everything in order, and looked just perfect, and headed towards the alter. He appeared quite nervous, so Sam, his brother and best man, asked, “Hank, are you alright? You seam distraught.” Hank, not wanting anyone else to know about Beth’s pregnancy until he tells Theresa, lies to his big brother for the first time in 10 years says, “No, Sam. I’m fine. It must just be cold feet, ya know.”
Hank straightened up his jacket as the music began to play. Theresa’s Matron of Honor gingerly walked down the aisle. Theresa had chosen her mother, Pilar, as her Matron of Honor. Pilar looked elegant in her pale peach dress. With her hair up and decorated with lace and peach beads she looked like a fairytail queen. Once Pilar had reached the alter, the organ started up with the wedding march. Luis was walking his sister down the aisle. Her dress was elegant. Made of silk and lace, Theresa wore the dress her mother had worn when she married her husband Martin Fitzgerald years ago, Theresa looked just like a latina wedding barbie. Her hair softly curled and up on the top of her head, she walked gracefully down the aisle.
Once Theresa made it to the alter Luis raised her vail and kissed her cheek and the priest asked, “who gives this woman to this man?” And Luis replied, “her family and I do”. Then Luis turned and sat in the front pew with his wife Sheridan, his brothers Antonio and Miguel, Miguel’s fiance Kay (Hank’s niece), their daughter Maria, his sister Piloma and Theresa’s son, Ethan Martin. As the priest went on with the ceremony as planned, Beth quietly snuck into the chapel and sat near the back. Soon Father Lonigan came to ask, “if anyone have just cause why this man and this woman shall not be joined in holy matrimony. Speak now or forever hold your peace.” Just as he said that Beth stoon and started towards the front and said “I do father”, as she spoke, everyone turned and looked in her direction. Hank look scared and flustered. Father Lonigan asked, “What do you need to say?” Beth responded, “Father, this marriage would be a sham if it took place. I hold here proof of the grooms unfaithfullness. Two weeks ago, he and I were intimate and conceived a child. I know Theresa as well as anyone here, if not better. I know Theresa’s one true love is Hank’s nephew, Ethan, and I also know Theresa would never marry a man who claimed to love her, but yet, made passionate love to another woman, a woman whom was like an older sister to her throughout her childhood.” Theresa took the pregnancy papers from Beth and looked them over, with tears streaming down her face she looked at Hank, and to Beth and back to Hank. With a single swing she punched him smack in the left eye and screamed, “HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME HANK!!! HOW?” She turned around and went to the pew and took her son, and ran down the aisle in tears to the bridal dressing room.
