I am a person who gets stuck on tradition. (well my own tradition)
If I am seeing a scarey movie I always go at the 10:40pm showing. If it's a romance or action movie I always see the 8:00pm showing. If it's an animated/pixar movie then I go at 4:00pm showing. Am I the only person who does this or do any of you do it as well?
Do you have a favorite time that you like to see a movie??

Deffinetly late at night. I love waking up in the middle of the night say 3am for example and watching a movie. However, if its a horror movie, during the day! :p :D

Well, I don't have certain times like that, but I have times I WON'T go...never on opening weekends for blockbusters, and never to sneak previews that are open to the public. We tend to favor the matinees between 5 and 6 now, because the ticket prices are a third cheaper before 6:00...but I go pretty much any time anyway, LOL. Traditions are cool though...and I'll admit the horror type movies are just a lot better at night. :D

My friends and I had this tradition...Friday night movie marathon. They'd come over we'd pop in a few movies and they'd go home around ten or eleven no matter what type of movie it was. Now days we catch the matinee movies at the theater because it's cheaper and then we can hang at the mall or drive somewhere else. Friday night movie marathon still kinda goes on with us but not like a daily ritual anymore...Going to the mall is much better because afterwards we hit either jamba or starbucks then straight to borders. :D

My boyfriend and I have a tradition too...
We generally go to see a movie on Friday after his work, so we go at 6:00 pm. After the movie we buy döner kebabs with French fries and eat them at home, talking of the movie we've just seen.
You now know what I'm going to do tonight :D

I usually go to see a movie on opening day, Fridays and then go out to dinner afterwards. I much prefer to see a film with a packed theater and most often, only on opening weekends are the theaters usually packed for any given movie. For scary movies though, it's always the 6:00 or 7:00pm showing. Any later than that and I'll be waking up with nightmares. :D

Hmmm...
I don't think I have any real traditions about movie viewing.
Mindy and I will go whenever we feel like it and when we don't have grand-babies to watch. We don't have a favorite theatre either. Except the local Carmikes have better popcorn, and the local Centurys have better food selection. :D
A small caveat tho', I go to certain flicks when my love is out of town on business. By the by, she leaves for Vegas for a trade show this coming sunday morning. I get to catch X-Men III, MI-3, See No Evil, and a few more while she is gone!
It is great to be a teacher in summertime with all the matinees! :D
