Just curious...what would you use textures like these for? or is it a paint shop pro thing?

you paste it over the banner wen you are done then put it on a layer propertie to get a nice colour effect

I don't always use them, but when I need them I just make one for whatever I style banner I'm making at the time :) .

Yeah, I always make my own textures, makes them unique to me then :p. Although for the most part, I prefere to use them for backgrounds.

:D LOL! thats what i do!! :)
i dont make them, i just crop a certain part of any picture that i like, then stretch it to the size of the banner and use an "effect" on it....makes it unique :D LOL

Well I don't actually know if mine would work well as 'over the top' textures. Heres one anyway:

That sort of thing I usually use for backgrounds though, but whatever colour you change it to, the white parts should stay highlighted.
