My son is only 10 months old and he has such a bad temper!
Everyone always tells me he is such a happy baby (and he is) but I always reply 'most of the time' cuz when he gets mad......whoa, you better be ready for the long haul cuz he goes at it. I really don't know what to do with a 10 month old temper! It's not like I can talk him down, he doesn't understand me! I've tried though! I usually just have to let him scream by himself for like a min (I can tell when he's ready to let me help him calm down when his screaming changes tones) then he is so happy to see me he calms down in my arms.....but geez, what happens when I am not around....how does a 10 month old learn how to control his temper?

well he wont really. lol i know that sounds bad but he will grow out of it. its normal for kids to throw tantrums when they dont get what they want but with my daughter allison i just ignore her and tell her mama doesnt want to hear her screaming and i put her in her room. shes older than 10 months so now she can understand when mommy is serious a lot easier but she started that at about 12 months. the worst thing you can do is give in when they are throwin a fit because then they have you wraped around thier little finger and they know that. and evertime they want somethin they will just scream until they get it. i would try time outs with your son, he will get tired of getting in trouble. hehe lol hope that helps
