I don't use proprietary software like Photoshop! I use the GIMP on my GNU/Linux systems. I made my banner and avatar following this tutorial: http://www2.safesearching.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=32334

The GIMP is free both in price and freedom. :)

I draw cartoons in Inkscape, too, which is a free vector graphics app. My gallery is here (gnulinuxman.deviantart.com/gallery).

its very simple and comfy.this prog have trialware without timelimit.
