Ghost Whisperer-The Complete First Season DVD

OK, everyone! Head on over to Amazon.com and pre-order your copy of Ghost Whisperer; The Complete First Season on DVD. Amazon has the cover art (very nice!) and some details, albeit scant, on the DVD's. It'll be released September 26th and will contain 6 DVD's. Amazon is offering it in a discount package with the first season of Medium (gee, what a surprise!). I'm sure the closer we get to the release date we'll get more info on special features (if any). The price might be a little steep for some but look at it this way. It's unlikely we'll ever get to see Time of Your Life on DVD so with Ghost, we're getting a second chance. Oh, and I'm proud to say I was the first to submit a review (YAY!) so this makes up for the time Jennifer last posted here looking for insomnia cures and I saw her post early in the morning and didn't write the first response in time. By the time I did, about 5,000 of y'all beat me to it!

Special Features are listed here (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5921) I'm glad they added the mysterious Wide Brim Hat Man gives the cover more of a darker aspect and I'm also glad they used the phrase "The Dead are Talking... And She is Listening". The Special Features should be awsome I hope the and more part means Audition Tapes/Gag Real/etc.

Amazon likes to offer up double buys, there isn't any increased discount if you buy both those titles together, it just generates more sales. Link to the Medium page at Amazon and you'll notice that if you add both the GW sale price and the Medium sale price together it reflects absolutely no further discount. They've retailed GW a bit too high, hold off and you can usually find a lower price than Amazon as well. Even though Amazon's 30% discount is impressive, at this very moment deepdiscountdvd already beats Amazon's sale price. There's always a chance that Best Buy or Costco will have lower prices as well, but deepdiscountdvd and Amazon are tax free and they also ship for free, compare and save.

Thanks for the info, Aerosmith! The price does seem a little steep, that's more along the lines of prices for DVD's of shows on HBO. I may wait a bit to see if I can find it a little less expensive but I'll still be buying the set, regardless. And thanks Jeffrey, for the link to the extras on the set. Sounds very good!

Just thought of this, I wonder if she'll do any in-store appearences to promote the release of the first season DVD? I know it's a long shot at best, but it's been done with other shows, you never know!

The difference is that one has Jennifer Love Hewitt on the cover and the other one doesn't wounder which one they'll use? I'm saying the one without Jennifer Love Hewitt in it cause it just looks weird and it looks nicer without it IMO.

Warn your wallet, the price is steep, still worth it.

Maybe one of those sites had a mock cover at one point? They're both the same now. The GW catch-phrase has been around for quite a while, it looks good.
