Lazily sitting by a pond,
Lightly dressed in silk,
Dreamily tracing her fingers
Across a still pond.
Circles within circles flow
Outward ripples searching,
Skimming along, under the
Dark night sky passing,
A reflected purple moon
On this warm summer night.
A Djinn slowly emerges
From the ponds depths,
Flowing water drapes
His black waist coat,
Chest bared.
Approaching; her hand he takes,
Leading her to standing
With an effortless twirl.
Their eyes float across each other.
They embrace, a dance enfolds,
The trees waver, tulips glow.
An invisible force lifts them,
Unwoken dreams swirl and prance,
Vines grow; threading each other,
Silent strands, a silent caress.
Stardust falls; they rise to meet it,
Bathed the light dust covers, a distant
Rumbling of distant galloping,
Beats the drummers tune; time slows.
A slight mist flows, a prancing beat,
Rain drops form on rose petals, flare,
Slightly more, with each drop,
Flutter bys a butterfly, Soft
Whispers caress, a gentle wind
Blows, her beauty reflected, souls.
Trees sway back and forth,
A violin sounds, crickets
Chirp lightly, fireflys glow,
A light lavender lingers
In the air, a light oil flows;
A rain drop falls splashing;
Her shapely heart. light touches,
Candles light, wonders cross
The rows, wheat waving in the wind,
Time slows, consumes.
Soft glows of sweet berries
Dance across her mind,
Step by step they wander
Over each other, the dance
Exploring, almost a tease
They rise, towering above each
Other, towering below each other.
Gazes flow, tap tap, dance, roam,
Mind to mind only they know.
Soft tones of movement
Create a ring, ignite the fire
Her beauty sings, the moon crawls
Across the sky draping her
Nature’s orchestra tempers,
moods grow, glow, moment in time.
wolf howls, silhouetted light,
Dark light, moonlight, warm summer night,
Sizzle gallops near, heard the race?
Will it arrive, might it survive?
A dance a prance, a playful romance,
Eyes twinkle, oils caress stardust flows,
Rain plays across her, along her lines.
Toe to toe against the wall
Inner self cascades;
One by one.
Two angels risen, wondering
When death will take them
They fall.
