Yup, this is definately gonna be a darker one. I don't think Venom will be involved though as I was hoping, I think it'll just be the symbiotes. Also there is Sandman and I think Hobgoblin is in there too.

Gonna be a great film I hope.

I liked the quick trailer that was shown recently. It looks to be a great film. I very much enjoyed the first and second one and judging by just the minute or so of scenes we saw of the 3rd one, I think this one will be just as good, if not better than the first two. :cool: The scene when Spiderman's suit turns black; Wow! :eek:

Todays visual effects are kick a** for sure. As I said in another thread, the visual effects are the main reason I watch comic book movies. I would have loved to have been involved with visual effects for a living, but learning from home was very hard :(...It's very difficult to teach yourself this stuff. Which is why I stuck to photoshop ;).

If the next spiderman has Venom and Carnage in...that movie will top #3 with ease I think :).

We get a strange sort of video game channel called G4 that did some live shows from the San Diego comic con last week...I happened to catch a segment where they were doing a feature on this film and showed a little teaser trailer for it. It was real brief and the only villain I saw was Sandman rising out of something, LOL. But afterwards, the people hosting the show started babbling excitedly about Venom being in it...and it also mentions him as a villain Spidey will have to face on IMDB's short page for this movie. So hopefully he'll at least be making an appearance, we can keep our fingers crossed anyway. I could tell very little from the trailer I saw, but Sandman definitely looked cool, as did the black Spidey suit...I actually think that'll work a little better on the big screen.
