how many seasons

i no that there is already two seasons of loast the 1st and 2nd. i have heard that the 3rd season is in the middle of filiming at the min. but is this true i read somewere or heard it on the tv that there is going to be 9 seasons?

The 3rd season is currenyly filming but I think at this point, they're only on the 4th or 5th episode of the season, as far as filming goes.

The creators have said that their plan is to keep the show on the air for 5 seasons and wrap it up completely. But in the end, it's up to the network, ABC, and studio, Touchstone, to decide how long the show will continue as they own the rights to make the show.

In my opinion, I think 5 seasons would be a good amount of time for it to be on the air, so long as the mystery is solved by then. :)

i heard that there was gonna be 9 too...but i dont think its gonna work...like, some shows that go ON and ON for years start off good, and everyone watches it. then the producers like OH lets keep going for another 10 years and see wat happens! but im scared that the storyline is going to get either:

weirder and weirder until no one understands wat the heck is going onOR

it'll fizzle out around season 6 when they run outta ideas.i know it sounds like i want it to stop I DONT i looooooooooove lost!! its amazing. im just repeating wat i was discussing with a friend earlier today (at school)
