Are you an old Hollywood fan? I am! Would you rather talk about actors and actresses from old Hollywood than the actors and actresses from today's Hollywood? I would! If you are into old Hollywood and the stars from that time then you are definitely thinking it be wonderful to have a forum for old Hollywood fans. I know I am! I think it would be a dream come true! I am not into today's Hollywood scene at all! I love the stars of today and some of the great dramatic shows on television like Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, and Without a Trace but I don't like where movies of today have gone. They are by no means at the caliber of old Hollywood movies. There haven't been many movies since 1990 that could stand the test of time. The only movies that I can think of are Steal Magnolias, Pretty Woman, Schindler's List, The Sixth Sense, and The Passion of the Christ. Maybe The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring will be remembered but I am not quite sure of its long-lasting appeal. From the 1980s I would think that Terms of Endearment, The Shining, An Officer and a Gentleman, Gandhi, Mommy Dearest, Poltergeist I and II, Rocky sequels, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Star Wars sequels, and ET are the movies to remember. I am talking about movies with longevity -- movies that contained so much good material that you know that they will be remembered along side the old great movies like Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, It's a Wonderful Life, To Kill a Mockingbird, Giant, East of Eden, Gone With the Wind, West Side Story, and Rebel Without a Cause -- just to name a few.

I hope that safesearching will consider putting a forum for people like us on here!

Lots of love,
Sandra
