Hi! Just had a little dinner, and am trying to sort out all the "social/red carpet/activity that is coming! I know there is something October 12, then the SNOOP DOG one, and then one for a film I did called DRIFTWOOD. There is also a "Fangoria" awards show I was invited too, that is a "horror" magazine...somehow I am getting on the "scream-queen" list! That should be pretty interesting too! Don't think I will wear my snakes bling to the Snoop Dog thing...(that rhymes!) but I will wear something outrageous! That is fun to figure out! Will keep you all posted! xo

I was just rereading all the flimflamfizze stuff. Vick, If you are Flamtoria, I AM FLAMIN!!!! I definitely like that.
I have noooo idea what I will be weariang to any of this stuff. The Snakes premier was really special, and I figured out my "outfit" for a long time. This time, it will probably be whatever! I do have some black leather pants and trashy tops that will be appropriate for Snoooooooop dog. I have never been much into the "designer" thing, but I am sure when big designers decide to ask me to wear their "line" the answer will be "Yes"...unless I look like do-do in their stuff. I hate it when women "wear something fashionable" or from a famous "a designer," but it looks like a sack of potatoes on them. I will not wear a designer sack of potatoes...Better a cute top from the GAP or one of the little boutiques I hang around. I will try and remember to get pictures though, although I am sure they will all be covered by press. Just have to make sure I get some of the shots...
Gonna walk the doggies...Molly is sick of the kitten Mimzy drinking out of her bowl. But she just growls enough to scare her and then backs off, like a good "mother." Later!:rolleyes: :D

In the immortal words of Clint Eastwood it was "not good":o
(Ok I made that up:p )
What happened is this.
In the final minutes before the chat the chatmasters program/ability to moderate failed.
It then became an unmoderated chat with all the questions going to all of us and Alyssa at the same time.
She was a real trooper and tried to read the questions as they were being fired in, but the rate at which the screen was scrolling by was extrememly rapid... making it impossible to not only read the questions... but see who wrote them as well.
When Alyssa, the webmaster and mods tried to have people slow down (and even stop) they apparently misunderstood and the questions kept coming in even faster... only now a half the members were asking questions and half were telling the first half to stop typing.:confused:
It was quite dizzying and I felt horrible for Alyssa who was desperately trying to continue and give her fans the time they all wished for.
I believe Scott has worked out the kinks and will be trying a practice run/chat on Tuesday to see how the operating system now works. (Not with alyssa but with Scott only)
The other piece of the puzzle was there were tons of people trying to log in at one time.
And that didn't work well either...
Many who did make it, were new... which made some of the more verteran members upset.
With the system not working properly it also booted members from the chat for no apparent reason too.:eek:
We've had better days that is for sure but all things considered no blood was shed and we will all have another opportunity to show our best sides again .. and with Alyssa's blessing we will try this all over again next Friday at 6.
It was just bad luck and excitement all rolled into one...:
Seeing that Lin's Donalds's and your chats were so incredibly successful we know it is a reperable situation...
Keep your fingers crossed and if you are flexible your toes too...:D
Hey Lin :D It's great to see you back here! I've missed being online here - I've had a crazy busy week of working (2 jobs at the moment). Yikes!!
I bet you can't wait for all of the excitement of the premieres. I bet whatever you wear, you will be comfortable in, you will love and you will be you. I really love how you are a strong woman, and just because it's a 'designer' label doesn't mean you have to wear it. I have a lot of respect for you Lin :)
I missed Alyssa's chat yesterday, and managed to jump online for 5 minutes last night, and just went WOW, big excitement. As you know, Scott is a legend and he will fix all the kinks so it is all good to go for next time.
We were very lucky with your chat that all went smoothly. I'm still extremely glad I got to participate!

Well Vick...if Clint hadn't said "Not Good" before, I'm sure he will say it soon!! NOT GOOD SUCKS ...! ok??? maybe that's what Clint said! It sounds like a SNARLY MESS...(how is that for a word??) That's "narly and sh---y" combined!...am I gonna get kicked off the boards for that one?? hmmmmm? I'm sure my chat went somoothly partly because I don't have the crazy around the world fan base that Alyssa has...you can imagine people swearing in Chinese and Serbian....and the time zones being all over the place where people got up at 3 o'clock in the morning and hadn't even had their coffee yet, and WHERE WAS ALYSSA??? I am sure dearest Scott will harness the beast, and it will all be fine on Friday. Thanks for the explanation, and even for me, I had to type and think as fast as I could to keep up with the questions.
