As posted to his News section:
Hello,
This Friday at 12:00 Noon, Bishop Bean and the Unity Fellowship Church will be screening 'Faces of HIV' at their Annual National Convocation.
As many of you who have seen the documentary (http://www.safesearching.com/?path=news&id=1322#) may already know, Bishop Bean and the Unity Fellowship Church have been in the trenches, fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles for over 25 years.
By screening 'Faces of HIV' at the convocation, we hope to reach out into the community once again and combine efforts with people such as yourself, to raise awareness about what has been described as a pandemic and how it is affecting the community.
African American women are the leading victims of HIV/AIDS in our country, contracting at rates that are frighteningly similar to that of third world nations.
I realize it is very short notice, but I would appreciate it if you would take the time to join us at this screening.
God Bless,
Bill Duke
