I visited that website just like you asked and I have signed up for the email newsletter. That's the first time I've ever seen a charity that does that kind of work specifically and also run by doctors and I'm glad there is such a charity & that you have made me aware of it. It could do alot if enough people knew about it so I'm gonna tell everyone. The next time I do a sponsored activity where I get to pick the charity I'll do it for gnntdc. I promise! Alyssa, it was great being able to hear your point of view on different topics during Friday's chat. I really do admire all the work you do with those in need. It's always great to know there are people in this world that help others by giving of themselves. It makes the world a much nicer place to live in. I can't do much on my end, but I have been a volunteer with Red Cross for disaster relief services here in Sunny Florida for about the past 3 years, and that in itself can be a lot of work at times - but it is so worth it. My fiancee and I sheltered close to 600 people for each hurricane that hit Florida a few years back when Charley, Francis, and Ivan hit us. I have to thank you.
You answered two of my questions relating to UNICEF, and the advise you would give young people who want to persue charity work- and it was great.
For me, the chat was at like 4 o clock AM, but the night before it was my first time, my first stepping stone, to doing humanitarian work. I helped children with learning disabilities and it was great. I felt that in that short time i was spending with them, i was making somewhat of a difference in someone's life, even if it was a tiny tiny difference. A couple of hours later there i was, getting questions answered by the person who inspired me to start all this work, the person who actually pulled out the compassion in me.
You just supported me ( haha even though you didnt know it :p ), and i'm going to continue with it. I got a project that i'm trying to do and UNICEF is helping me, and at the begining i thought " eep its going to be A lot of work, juggling school with this " and honestly, it scared me a bit. But after doing that event the night before your chat and seeing the kids smiling and then talking to you, i feel certain that i CAN do it, and i WILL do it. It'll help a lot of people and that's what counts.
So. thank YOU, for giving me confidence and showing me the first stepping stone.

To actually get to talk to you, even if it was online, was the best thing that's ever happened to me. The fact that you actually answered two of my questions made the day even more special than it already was. You have impacted my life so dramatically; I would be a different person without you. I respect you for your acting, charity work, and UNICEF work.

Your role as a U.S. Fund for UNICEF ambassador makes it possible for UNICEF to touch as many lives as it does; all of the ambassadors make UNICEF possible. I've learned so much about your work with UNICEF this school year because of my Senior Project. Senior Project is a semester long project in English that consists of a research paper, note cards, source cards, works cited page, community service, having a mentor, and presenting all of the information in a speech. The speech is given in front of three judges, who are from the community. The whole project is worth more than 2,000 points. For my project, I decided to research the impact that celebrities make on UNICEF.

I have become so passionate about UNICEF and encourage others to be passionate, too. My goal for a product for Senior Project is to raise $500 to donate to the UNICEF Snowflake. I keep telling myself that I will make it to my goal, even if I don't even have $100 yet. I try to tell people that even pennies make a difference, but no one seems to care. It's something that amazes me in ways that I've never been amazed before. One day I hope to do an internship with UNICEF; I was thinking about doing it before college. (You never know.) Going to a third-world country to help children seems scary, but the results of doing so would be worth more than anything in the world. I hope that I will be able to help those children, even if I can't raise millions of dollars.

As far as how you've impacted my life in general, you've changed me. I've had such a hard time within the last 2 years. My parents had a horrible divorce, and I mean horrible, and it's been so stressful. I also have anxiety problems, which I've had for the last 6 years, and have problems talking to people about my feelings. I always have my writing, whether it's a poem or a letter to someone. I'm able to get my thoughts out on paper, or computer, in ways that I wish I could say. Every woman that I seem to confide in, usually a teacher, seems to either leave my life too soon, or not ever have the time to talk to me. Ironically, the one person that I feel the closest to is my chiropractor, who kind of looks like you. Sadly, she established that she wanted to keep our relationship strictly professional, but I respect that. I know that I'm not popular, and my interests and taste show that, but I always have those things to fall back on. One thing that I always know is that I will always have you, no matter what. I might never get the chance to meet you, but I know that you will always be on my side. I just keep my hopes set high, probably too high; maybe I might meet you someday.

I know that you won't reply to this, but seeing this is enough for me. I thank you more than words can say, even if that does sound cliché. You have inspired me to be someone that's worth something. I hope that I will impact someone's life someday the way that you've inspired me. Please continue to be yourself and no one else; you are so unique and so wonderful. Continue to change the world one step at a time as an ambassador for UNICEF. Continue to be the voice for those of us that don't have the power to stand up for ourselves. Continue to live by Phoebe's wisdom: "We all need to believe that magic exists." Continue to be magical and protecting because, after all, Phoebe would want you to be.

how are you? hope you're doing good. i'm from the philippines and when i was college, i started watching charmed but when i started working, i never had the chance because i work during night shift. i just learned from a friend that the series had the final season and that was so sad. i just finished the 8th season of charmed in dvd and it was very, very nice. even if i had to watch 4 episodes after office, i am not getting sleepy. i wish you guys will have 9th, 10th, 11th and so on.... i started browsing the net for more info of your characters and found out that you're really a nice person, one of the few celebrities who still have time on charity works. i just wanna say you are an inspiration to many people, keep up the very good work!! :)
