wow Mona!! I have my "work" cut out for me! I will try and answer all of them!
1. My biggest fear personally I think, is that I would loose my passion, and my love of life. I never foresee that happening...but I sometimes think "what if nothing meant anything to me anymore?" We all have days where we are tired or listless for one reason or another, and I actully think it is important to respect those days too...and as we know, life is full of ups, downs, and some "sidewayses." But I truly feel blessed to love life as much as I do.
2. I have one "big brother." I am quite close to him and his wife is really like my sister. We see each other as often as possible. He travels alot, so when he is here in LA we try and see each other.
3. Yes I do like Mariah Carey! She also puts on a wonderful show, and sings with so much heart.
4. If a big fan asks for a hug, yes of course I would hug him/her. If something "didn't feel right," I would give a quick hug, thank them for their fanship, and move along! That has never happened though. I love my fans, and they deserve whatever energy I can give back to them.
5. I LOVE TO ACT!!!...So whatever characters come my way, I AM READY! I just played a drunken, abusive trailer trash mom, and I have to admit, as horrible as that is in real life, it is a ball to play! "death scenes," are both fun and scary! I love it all!
6. Yes, I am good at keeping secrets! I fell if someone confides in me, it shows tremendous disrespect to break their confidence, and respect for them to keep it.
7. I would like to visit Russia, New Zealand and China. But every culture that is different from mine fascinates me!
8. Sometimes I am a shoppoholic! But usually for household things...more than clothes or make-up. I love art...and love to buy a piece of art wherever I visit. My dad was a painter later in his life, and I have lots of his paintings in my home. And I love "supporting" what an artist does by buying what they create. My art pieces are like "friends."
9. I daydream of my academy award and the film that got me there....I daydream of my son's future, and his success as a writer, I daydream of peace, I daydream of living long and healthy and of my knowledge growing, to fill me and my art.
Thanks for asking such interesting questions! If you ask me the same questions tomorrow, probably all the answers will change...or at least grow...but that is the nature of living...isn't it??

Hugs,

Hey Mona...
Great questions!!!!
Hey Lin...
Even better answers!!!!
Your daydream answer defines you...
I love that...
And Johanna,
Lin is an amazing actress.
Just read all the posts on her main board to find out some of the details.
And we are lucky, beyond imagination, that she actually comes to these (her boards) on a regular basis to visit with us, answer our questions, drink a few legal and illegal drinks, chew the fat, talk about our hopes and dreams and just share internet air time...
It is staggering that she does this
so freely...
so willingly...
so completely...
We are truly blessed to be apart of her life and she apart of ours...:)

Grog. Grog can help against flue symptoms. It is ready-made available in sachets which contain a painkilling and fever tempering chemical (normally Paracetamol), mixed with vitamin C. The powder should be diluted in boiled water, and be drunk as warm as possible. The original grog contains alcohol. Originally grog is a mix drink consisting of an alcoholic beverage mixed with water and sugar. Grog was established in the 17th century when admiral Vernon invented it while operating in the Caribbean with his recruits. To prevent drunkenness due to excessive Rum consumption, he diluted it with water and sugar. The name ‘grog’ was the nickname of Vernon, who was always wearing a black satin jacket during seabattles, a Grogram.
A grog – alcoholic or non-alcoholic- can be a good remedy to counter an upcoming flue or fever. There are different types of grog of which Cognac grog, rum grog and wine grog (Glühwein) are the most known.

Dear Johanna! that is completely fascinating! Thank you for sharing the history with us! I love the part about the Grogram black satin jacket! As I am sure you know, Vick has become my wardrobe designer! Wouldn't it be great to find a picture of what that jacket looks like? That may be impossible, but "we can dream!"
And it is so true that when one of our parents assure us that "everything is going to be ok" the peace and warmth are overwhelming....Just like a good warm sip of grog!!! ...on a cold night... only better!!
