Hey everyone... this is so weird, but i posted this thread a couple of hours ago and it has COMPLETELY disappeared... so i dont know if SS took it off.... or i imagined myself posting the thread.. but i will try again because i reallu would appreciate your guys comments and opinions.
Im doing a lot of research on " microcrediting" because at my school younger grades have a class called social studies, where they learn about random stuff. So im proposing to my school that they let ME *angel face* take a few of their lessons every month to these younger grades, and i talk to them and create a bit more awareness and i thought microcrediting would be a nice one. Sooo heres some info about it, hit me up xo

Microcredit, or microfinance, means loaning money to very poor people for them to start and grow small businesses. Even the very poor need financial services, but most banks do not view the very poor as viable clients, and microcrediting encourages banks to do quite the opposite. A big misconception is that microcrediting is a sort of charity, but it really is not charity. It is long term sustainable approach to poverty alleviation as opposed to a one time gift. If you give somebody a fish, you feed them for a day. If you teach them how to fish, you feed them for life. This is the basic idea of microcredit.

Then on the other hand, the people/ companies/ banks that HAVE tried microcrediting, says that it is extremely effective and a poplular measure to try to eradicate poverty...

so what do you think ? do people have any comments?
