Heya, I have too many fav's to mention but atm my fav song would have to be beyonce - irreplacable but the song im listening to atm is razorlight - in the morning :).

OK....really "esoteric"....as most of the music I listen to is my son's. A group called BOOK...and DO MAKE SAY THINK.....(Don't ask....!!!) I especially like BOOK. It is like listening to a piece of theater as well as music...!

Opeth - The Drapery Falls.

^^Metal band. Their songs are generally long, but they go through many changes throughout. From heavy to mild, electric guitar to acoustic. They use lots of different combinations to achieve the different feelings throughout!. Both the guitars go through aggressive and soft parts, as do the vocals, layering keyboards over the top where needed to add more feeling where needed. Probably not your style Lin, but if your ever feeling quite "open" to music one day, maybe worth listening to one or 2 songs. I can imagine you turning it off right away! :p, as most do with metal when they don't listen to it generally. But Opeth's songs really require people to listen to them from start to finish to get the whole experience!.

If...IF!!! you ever get curious Lin, try the songs titled Dirge For November or The Drapery Falls!. Or, if you wanna keep it entirely mild for easy listening, try their song called Isolation Years.

Still can't imagine you listening to metal though! :p.

Hmmm... well, in keeping with my mouldering persona I generally listen to classical, a tad of oldies but goodies, and some soft rock. :D

One of my best friends, the always wicked Roman, made me a CD for my car with a bit of Metallica, a bit of Breaking Benjamin. The London Symphony Orchestra version of Nothing Else Matters (Metallica) is currently playing a lot.

As always, my favourites are Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton - old school.
