Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if any had put there tree up yet? lol
I put mine up today i love having it up and would do it in March if i could lol
Iv gone for purple and silver decs this year.
I might put a pic up for you all to see if you want to.
We have a 14'ft artifcial tree that the previous owners left.
The top is wired to the ceiling to keep it balanced.
My sons put it up each year and it takes them 4-5 hours to do so.
Last winter they left the top handing.... only the top... just to see if we would notice.
They boxed the rest up nice and neat...
I noticed the second I walked into the room.
It took my husband 3 weeks to notice...
Needless to say it is still hanging there so maybe it will only take them 3 -4 hours this year:D

Well my tree has been up for a few weeks BUT i dont think the cat likes it because every morning i have to get up and put the decs back on it. Im going to ban her from the front room at night if she dont stop it lol.
I couldnt do that really she would make me feel bad.

We won't be putting ours up till about the 16th December, then we'll go off to the woods in wild and woolly Cornwall and find just the right tree in Farmer Dungey's Christmas tree forest. It's great fun and we've been doing that since my daughters were little :) We usually have about a 7' tree which we put in the middle of the conservatory - we have to keep a very close eye on it too, when Jack Russell is about, because he thinks it's a tree.... it is a tree... and we all know what boy dogs do to trees :D

We got our tree yesterday!! We've gone mad, it's 10' tall and at the moment, standing in a big bucket of water. We plan to decorate it tomorrow and put the lights around the trees at the front of our house as well :) Can't wait!! Merry Christmas, everyone :)

Oh Susie... It is beautiful...
Nice job..
That's what a tree should look like...
We have a funny 14 ft fake tree...
With our new cat... she has climbed it and rearranged all the branches to make it look like there are "floors " every few feet.
The garland is a mess, there are no ornaments left and... well... we love it:p
Merry Christmas:D

Susie your tree is beautiful.
Vicky we don't put up a tree for that very reason. Imagine what 11 cats would do to it:rolleyes:
Johanna I know both you & Jelmer are hurting right now. The first holidays without a loved one are always the hardest but you still have your safesearching family to share with.

wonderful tree, Susie!! My kitties are busy running around rearranging EVERYTHING, so I know how you feel Vick. Johanna, be sweet to yourself...nice things to eat, talking to good friends, putting on something bright and pretty, even if it's just for you! and most of all...remember how loved you are...time will pass, but your Mom's love never will.

Thanks for all the nice things you've said about our tree :) I think I've spent more time looking at it than at the telly at the other end of the room :D I just realised you can see the roof of the bird table in the garden through the branches about half way up on the left, it looks like there's a couple of eyes peeking out underneath  :D

Maybe a little Christmas gremlin moved it! They usually stay the whole year...so make sure you have lots of chocolate and sugar cookies around to keep it happy!
