Yeah, I took a long break from this site, again, and I have more news, again...
Some of you may have known that I had a girlfriend on here by the name of "gnulinuxwoman". We broke up last July and if you see her around here, she has nothing to do with me.
In September, I found a new girlfriend who has the same form of autism I have, Asperger's. We're not a normal pair since we act more like buddies than boyfriend/girlfriend, and that's what sort of relationship I want. I also discovered in July that I am not straight, gay, or even bi. I'm what's known as asexual, which means I have absolutely no interest in basing a relationship on inserting tab A into slot B, if you know what I'm getting at. None whatsoever. But I have a girlfriend and we consider ourselves a-romantic as well--since we don't "date"--we're more like the very best of friends. And that is what I want out of a relationship.
So if any of you lack attraction to others for physical reasons, you know you're not alone!
Other things:
I've gone goth... for real... no, it's not a satanic cult :P
I've gone vegetarian. My girlfriend provided the encouragement, and I've been meat-free since mid-September. :D
I'm moving to another state next month! :D Should be around my 1-year anniversary of joining SS...
My laptop broke in October. My girlfriend describes it as "the horrible result of a tragic farming accident"...really, it looked bad--just don't ever take your computer in to redeem your service plan... don't get one in the first place!
I got a free laptop on December 5 that is better than the one that broke down on me. :D Used, but still awesome! (Will be useful next month during the move)So, that's my life since I last visited... I'm just glad I remembered my SS password! Though I appear in many places as gnulinuxman now, SS is the first place I've ever used this name on. :D For those of you who don't know how to pronounce it, it's three words: GNU, Linux, and Man
It's like this: "guh-NOO linix man" (My girlfriend couldn't figure it out at first...)
