Great news guys!!!! ABC 1 will show Ghost Whisperer on their channel. They will air 2 episodes on the secondth of January.

I myself am pleased to watch this on ABC1 to catch-up, because I haven't actually seen all of the episodes yet (although I recorded the last three eps from E4.)

I'll post up times when we get nearer to the date, which is a date for your diary!!!

Is ABC 1 a channel in the UK?
I'm pretty sure it is. I think I've heard folks from the UK refer to it before. It's interesting how different networks/channels air new shows in the UK, whereas in the US, we're so used to new episodes being on just one network.

ABC1 is definately a network in the UK, it pretty much sounds like the US network, but it is not. We get 8 Simple Rules, Less Than PErfect, Ghost Whiperer, we used to get Commander in Chief, and More 4 bought it, and we get shows like Home Improvement, and lots more comedies and dramas.

We have plenty of networks, programmes air on different networks, such as Hope&Faith used to be on channel4, before ABC1 took over. ABC1 can only be accessed through digital, where has we have five channels on Terrestrial television, BBC1 (Eastenders, Neighbours & Doctors etc.) BBC 2 is moslty educational and boring, I don't see why they have it really. ITV is a mixture of dramas, used to be really boring, but is good. They used to have Pop Idol and we've got The X Factor now. Channel four is dramas, comedies, documentaries. (Have just finished S8 of Charmed, have got other shows such as Desperate Housewives, and used to have lost until they 'lost' the bidding war between themselves and SKY1.) They are also buying Ugly Betty, which is another ABC show. Channel five is a mixture of shows, but, because they didn't have Charmed *cries* this year round, they seem to not be worth watching anymore. They mostly have CSI.

So, that's a basic break-down of our main networks. Channel five is pretty recently grown into a network. Channel four and Channel Five buy in programmes, and do not make their own.

I had been watching the episodes on E4, but I had to stop watching, so I could record other programmes (and I deleted all of the episodes.) But, because it's on ABC1, I can catch up, and rewatch the show again...

Thank God for ABC1!

Did ABC1 in the UK start running the second season then? It's past Jan 2nd. Maybe these are reruns of season one??

re-runs of season one they are indeed... Ans they're on at night, and I don't know if they will be on in the day.... (I am quite mad at this....)

The ABC1 website is at www.abc1tv.co.uk (Ghost Whisperer's not been installed into their site yet...)
