So Barack Obama (Senator D-IL) has started up an exploratory commitee for the President in 2008...it doesnt necessarily mean he is going to run, but its a start, it means he is definitley looking into it. What do you guys think about this? Is he a candidate you would consider voting for???
I can say for certain, I would gladly vote for this man!!!

If he runs and wins the nomination, I'll almost certainly vote for him...right now, based on everything I can tell about him so far, I'd say there's a good chance he'd be a candidate I could actually support with some real enthusiasm, rather than just as the lesser of two evils. If that were to happen, it'd be the first time either major party ran someone I could feel that way about in a LONG time, LOL.

I voted for him in 2004 and I would gladly vote for him if he decides to run for president.

I'll have to wait to see more interviews with him and get a better grasp on his views but from what I've seen and read so far, he's also a candidate I can see myself supporting and voting for, come 2008.

Senator's Obama & Clinton are both members of the Democratic party and in all likeliness they'll be facing each other in the Democratic primary. They both hail from Illinois, although Clinton is representing New York now. I'm hoping it comes down to a Obama/Clinton (or vice-versa) ticket for president in 2008.

I can't say that I've heard anything too impressive to make me want to back ANY Presidential hopeful at this point... there are SO many important issues to be addressed directly both abroad AND more importantly here at home; instead of doing the jobs they both got elected to.
Anyway; here's some things that got me to thinking today and wanted to pass along:
"We seek a free flow of information... We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."
