OK, this site looks like it's pretty much for youngsters. I'm 54, and MY SON was born in 1981, same as Justin T! I just thought I would add a few comments about how GOOD Justin is sounding lately. He's workin off that DISNEYWORLD ORLANDO kid star look, and has released some songs that really sound good. Cry Me a River got through to me. That was the first thing I heard from him that sounds REAL. Like he's finally doing what HE wants to do! Then I watched the GRAMMY AWARDS and saw him do "What Goes Around..." and REALLY felt it. His sound has a lot of SOUL, which is something I don't hear enough of in today's digitally contrived canned beat music. It's amazing to see him sit at a piano and play while he sings, with those bluesy guitar breaks, and sing something I can actually FEEL. The boy is growing into a man and a mature for-real performer!
Funny thing--I was taking computer classes to update my skills back in, what? 2002? Because it was my SECOND education, I did some part-time no-brainer work to keep some change in my pocket. I was a security guard for a couple of years, and one of the concerts I worked was NSYNC. This was at Qualcomm Stadium, which holds up to 60 thousand people. I was posted up in the second balcony, so I watched the NSYNC show from too far away to see any individual faces. It all just looked like one of those "Main Street at Disneyland" things, and frankly I thought it was pretty SILLY. But hey, 40 thousand 10-to-13 year olds were diggin the hell out of it! I was way up in the balcony, trying to prevent a mob of screaming pre-teens from falling over a rail. At one point this little girl walked up to me, she was about 9 years old, had funny-looking big front teeth and glasses that were too big for her face. She asked me if NSYNC would be doing their one most famous hit song, as she demonstrated with a little hop-skip-and-jump, "The one where they sing "BYE-BYE-BYE!" LIKE I WOULD KNOW THIS! Apparently she has this image in her mind of all the security guards in this 60-thousand-seat stadium getting on the bus with NSYNC after the show's over, and the band telling us which songs they're gonna do at their next stop on the tour. I told her, "I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they probably will." That was all I ever knew about NSYNC. But it's truly amazing to see how Justin has emerged from all that with a GROOOOVY sound of his own! 5 years has made an astounding difference!
