Hey all! I am so excited about joining the Biggest Loser. it's going to be such a fun show to be a part of. Isn't it amazing how much weight people lose? I think it's so inspiring how hard people work.

So, I still have this stupid cough ... ha, so does Sami this week. And so, Lucas will probably have it next week. lol. Ben got it too, and I just hate it when Ben is sick, it makes me so sad. :( Anyway, we read a lot of stories tonight, and I'll admit it - some tv too. Ben loves 'Dragon Tales'.

OMG - who has been watching "are you smarter than a 5th Grader?"??? This show is fantastic!!! I love these kids! they are adorable and so smart! this show kills me!

Hey missy. omg I hate getting sick too. I have the flu right now and i would rather have a cold then the flu. But I tend to get colds all the time, thats what you get for working with kids I guess.

I have only caught parts of "are you smarter than a 5th Grader?" its a funny show.

I hope you and ben feel better soon. I dont like seeing kids sick either. And hope you dont pass it on to anybody else *knocks on wood for you" lol

Hey Ali

Everyone I know has been sick this winter with really nasty colds or the flu. I have never felt so crappy. Just when I think I am over it I catch something else. I broke down and bought some cold FX, with any luck that will do the trick.

My husband and i have both been watching are you smarter than a fifth grader...and well...we're not...how embarrassing!!! I think the show is fixed...I certainly don't remember studying the periodic table of elements in elementary school! I did manage to get a few questions right to my utter amazement.

Good luck with the Biggest Looser...that is an amazing opportunity. Hope you and Ben feel better soon.

There is something about this cold season this year. My best friend never gets sick EVER and she had one wicked case of strep throat. Even broke down and went to the Emergency Room which she is one who refuses to go to the doctor! I seem to have escaped the sniffles this year - I love the man who invented the flu shot! I hope Ben's Birthday went well despite the cold - poor "Lucas" better watch putting the moves on "Sami" this week!

I'm totally into Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I made a post about it on the OT board. I love it! I'm shocked at the things that I've forgotten and it's all stuff that I remember learning. I'm not sure I did the periodic table in grade school but most of the others I do recall. I was laughing so hard at the guy trying to pick out the E's in "Pledge of Allegiance" not THE Pledge of Allegiance mind you. And the guy picking out how many t-spoons in a tablespoon - 2 times 5 is uh....uh... I would be so embarrassed! No way would I go on that show. I think I prefer Jeopardy! LOL Those kids are definitely cute and very smart. I crack up at the way they roll their eyes and wave their hands to hurry up because they are done! I wonder if they will still be so smart in 20 years;)

I love the new show Are you smarter than a 5th grader? too,lol.:D Jeff Foxworthy is a great host. The kids are smart. It is amazing what we forget as we get older.:rolleyes:

I just wanted to tell you that I think you're a terrific actress and I watch Days basically for you = ] I can't wait to see you on the Biggest Loser, when does this season premiere? I usually catch the end of each season...I've heard that "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader" is a great show too. Hope you and Ben feel better soon, I'm on the East coast and everyone here including me has gotten the cold/flu. Haha hope Bryan/Lucas doesn't get the cough too : )

Hi Everyone. WOW its been a long time since I've been to Ali's website-3 years! Shame on me! I've been watching the show as much as possibly..just got away from it. I'm so happy that "Sami and Lucas" are back together. Adore "Smarter than a 5th grader" especially being a teacher and am looking forward to seeing Ali on "Biggest Loser" I've watched it from time to time, will be good to see Ali as herself.

I'm hoping to be on here a bit more, catching up on things and just saying Hello. Keep up the good work Ali. Your website and this forum looks wonderful.

(The sickness has moved here into my part of Ohio as well...just can't get rid of the cough/sore throat stuff)

This is my first time in here.....I am a big fan. Been watching your character Sami on and off since you started DOOL back in 1993. I am right now reading your book "All The Days of My Life So Far".....bought it a couple of years ago and I'm just now getting around to reading it....shame on me....lol! Love the book so far....I'm almost finished with it.

I read on this site earlier today that your little boy Ben is almost two now.....its hard to believe. My little boy will be two on March 21st. I enjoyed watching Days when you were pregnant....it was so fun to see how they would hide your belly in the scenes.....but you could tell anyways you had that glow about you....you looked amazing! Congrats also on The Biggest Loser....I love watching that show and will be sure to tune in.

I wish that I could go to Fan Fair in Nashville.....I have always wanted to go and meet everyone, but never managed to get there...lol! I live in TN so its not a long drive. Maybe I'll get to go one day. Gotta go for now....just thought I'd say I love your work and you and don't ever change.
