Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I am leaving for Vancouver today to begin shooting a new series called Flash Gordon. I play Baylin, who is not without a little tough, sexy, butt kickin attitude! I am thrilled. Will be giving you all updates once we start shooting!!!

HAHA! i know what you mean by the good view, up here in canada! And yes, it will air in the states... south of the border.... on the SCI FI CHANNEL !
We just started shooting episode 5 ( already!!!!) and are having a blast. Eric ( FLASH) is Fantastic, Fun, and Funny. Gina and the rest of the cast is Fantabulous also! ( yes I just invented a new word.... must be my alien brain getting to me!) So now to add more F words, I will mention that I am off to bed cuz I am getting picked up at FIVE A.M.

Flash Gordon is scheduled to debut in U.S. on the SciFi channel at 9 p.m. (Eastern) on Friday, August 10. The debut is a 2 hour episode. It will repeat three hours later.

It will also repeat on Sunday, Aug 12 at 5 p.m. (Eastern); Wednesday, Aug 15 at 11 p.m. (Eastern); Friday, Aug 17 at 3 a.m. (yes a.m.) (Eastern); and Friday Aug 17 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).

It appears that the regular schedule (planned) is Fridays at 9 p.m. (Eastern) repeating at 11 p.m.

Mark your calendars, program your VCR's, cancel your dates, etc.

Get ready.

Me Again! Just letting you know not to expect toooo much of me/ Baylin in the pilot..... I show up in the last 15 minutes or so.... BUT it will still be great! And apparently eps 3&4 and so on, are really cool !!!!!!! :D

Just finished shooting a wonderfully hot day on the planet "MONGO" / vancouver forests! It's all going great, and honestly the scripts and momentum just keep getting better and better. We are very excited.

Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful summertime too! xox

Don't worry, that's normal to need time to introduce characters. It will give more suspense to the story!! And the most important is that you get this cool role^^

They also mentioned Surrey and many more. So, where the heck is the set of Flash Gordon please ? Right, I'm curious as ever. :D

Guess, I was a bit sloppy bec. I actually wanted to ask where the ‘studio’ is, like the Bridge Studios in Burnaby (for Stargate SG-1) which is, of course, heavily guarded (big sigh). Nm, I’m harmless and living on the other side of the big pond anyway. hehe

As to ‘beautiful forests’ I’m only saying Lighthouse Park (West Vanc.). I so love it.
Hopefully, you and your fellow FG chums don’t have to run around filming in the rain (forest) that much, haha.

Last but not least, what you said about us ‘crazy’ sci-fi fans was so sweet .. please feel hugged !! :D Although I can only speak for myself I’d like to say that we all are (quite) normal, hard-working people and that we support what we love a 100%. And yes, I'm enjoying what you do immensely bec. it’s FUN to watch. Right .. you go girl !!!

Lol, I agree DD. We sci-fi fans are (quite) normal...most of the time. Although sometimes I do feel like some-what of a dork for getting excited over things like super-human powers, aliens, light-sabers, and witchcraft. But to each his own, eh? Call me simple minded, but I actually rather like being so easily ammused...makes life more enjoyable, I think, to take pleasure in the simple things. :D

P.S. Karen, I'd also like to say thanks for what you said about us "crazy sci-fi fans". It was very kind of you to be so gental about how wierd we are. ;) You're a sweetheart, and all of your fans know that and love you for it. Thanks for boosting our reputations! Hehe

haha! This is so funny:D You KNOW I meant crazy in the best way possible! Listen I have been accused of being crazy so many times so of course I think crazy is good! Day off today yippeeee! Going backstage at the Vancouver Aquarium to pet some seals, etc. And if any of you know me, I am CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY about animals. The other day we went to see an IMAX movie on ALASKA and I laughed and cried the whole time at the bears, seals, etc. .....I was the only one in the theatre doing so , mind you..... but who cares!!!!!! I AM CRAZY LIKE THAT!!!
