Does anyone know if they will actually release this score for purchase. As best as I can see they have only released a soundtrack with Various Artists and no music from the score. :( If you have any info please reply.

Many or almost every fan of spider-man and maybe classic music is waiting for that score to be released. Though Young didn't compose much on his own, the arrangements he did were wonderful. "harry attacks peter" shown on his website for example, is a wonderful combination of new musical elements and the goblin aspect from the first movie...

It would be very cool if this score would be released very soon - but there is nothing much known about that yet... :(

Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't answer your question about the score but hopefully it will be released for die hard fans one day soon!

Yeah, Mander's good about returning PMs! :-) I've been everywhere trying to find information about the score and I can say I read a rumor - somewhere, that's the killer, I can't remember - that it may be released in June, July at the latest. Now that's a rumor, no confirmation, but it's something.

Until then, we just have to keep seeing the movie to hear the music. I love the church sequence music, and the fistfight between Harry and Peter!!!
