A Terrible Month For Me!

Normally I don't talk to much about my personal life...but I need to like vent.......about 3 weeks ago, the dog my dad got when I was almost 10 years old, was put to sleep, she is the doggy in my top banner......then, 1 and 1/2 weeks ago a non-immediate family member passed away of cancer.....and I just found out last night that one of my friends that I haven't seen in a couple years, died last month.....SO MUCH DEATH!! UGHH

Bill, I'm so sorry for the losses you've had recently. :( Maggie was a very beautiful dog and as you know, I'm an animal lover, and it's so hard to lose a pet. They are so much a part of our family and our lives that they leave an impact that will never be forgotten. In a way, they'll always be in our memories and the fun times we had with them are ever present in our hearts and minds. Cancer has taken a number of my loved ones away over time and it's a disease that is never fair and it's hard for us. It's so hard... But often, the hardest thing to see and experience is the loss of a friend or family member who passes away at a young age. Often, there's no words that we can say when something like that happens. All we can do is be there is offer our support to the loved ones left behind. Keep all three in your memory and those memories will, over time, help with the healing process.

Better days are ahead, hang in there. I'm always here if you need to talk.

It's just crazy....and It's weird, everytime there is death in my life...It's in 3's :eek:
I had known that the family member was going to pass with the cancer, but it was so quick...it spread to her brain....and about 3 months later.......:(
My friend...I think it was drugs....overdose :S Which almost happened to me...but I got got better, thank god! :)

Bill I'm so sorry for all your losses. Yes they do seem to come in threes. Maggie looks like a lovely dog & I'm sure she knew how much you loved her. I lost 2 dogs within the span of a week this year & it is very hard - I miss them so. Heidi the brown dog in my top banner was one of them.

I have lost several relatives & friends to cancer some rather slowly & some fairly quickly. Cancer is a terrible disease that does not discriminate. My heart goes out to you.

When a friend dies suddenly it is never easy. You just go on & remember that they are in a better place now & no longer in pain.

Hey Bill,
I was wondering what was going on.
I missed seeing you around and I am so sorry to hear of your losses.
It is never easy and it's odd how even the pet loss effects you as much as the other two.
We invest out lives in other souls and when they are gone it breaks our heart.
I really really hope your heart can heal and be filled, not with heartache but, with memories of the times once shared.

Hi Bill! I'm so sorry for you! My rabbits were put to sleep the last years, I hate it when such things happen :( My thoughts are with you! We are here for you!

bill, im so sorry for your losses. i have recently lost my great-great auntie to cancer. we thought she died of a heart attack, but it turned out to be a tumor in her brain. so i know what you are going though. your dog was beautiful, and she lived a good long life. shes in a better place now. its hard not to be sad. im still sad after three years. i had my dog cara my whole life, and i still half expect her to be there when i wake up.
