Madeleine is a little girl from Britain who was kidnpped while she was on holiday with her family in Portugal (Algarve). She has been missing since the 3rd of May that's 12 days! She is only 4 years old! She was 3 when she was taken away but she has had her 4th brithday since then. No one has found any trace of Madeleine.

Please pray for Madeleine's safe return. Please pray for her family. It is very likey that Madeleine has been taken out of Portugal so she could be anywhere by now.

Please visit this site www.bringmadeleinehome.com

This website was set up by Madeleine's Aunt. It was set up to help spread the message so any1 with information can come forward. Look at all the pictures and if you have any information or if you ever see this girl phone the numbers provided. Download the posters and put them where alot of people will see them. Madeleine's family want as many people to see these posters as possible. The more people that see them the more likely someone that has information will see it too. Please wear yellow ribbons or something yellow to show you are thinking of Madeleine and praying for her safe return. Thank you.

I wanted to post this here as I know people from all round the world post here so people will be looking out for Madeleine in many different countries. Madeleine has a very distinguishing feature in her eye. The black from her pupil leaks out into her iris. The website explains all. Please everyone visit this site.

I will try to pray. (I don't know but it's worth to try for this case)

Interesting. I was thinking kinda odd no one had posted anything about it.
I'm keeping up on the news everyday. I believe portuguese news (I'm from Portugal BTW) are exploring the case a little bit too much. Ok, we are all worried and it's important to inform such horrible thing but what they are doing is a little too much. We open the TV and we only see "Madeleine" in the news. Maybe her parent's might want some peace sometimes, don't they??
It's actually bringing out that there's actually a country in Europe called Portugal but it's too much to explore such sentimental case.

I will continue believing and whishing she is ok and will be found alive. That's the most important thing here and to put the guy in jail, obviously.

There are many cases of children never found who were kidnaped out here. I really hope this won't turn to another case like that.

You hadn't??
Their parents just ended up their visit with the pope. They also put a big ballon with her face to fly over the place so that if people see her they'll warn the police.
I really hope they find her and that people really wish and put their strengh into finding the little girl.

Let's hope this will all end ok. :)

Why is only her picture splashed everywhere? Is she famous? Rich? What about the millions of other abducted/abused/murdered children? GEEZZZZ  This may sound insensitive, but the media just cant pick and choose which children to put on the news, etc...EVERY abducted child is important! It's sad that, in a world where a war is going on, the media cares only about 1 abducted child (out of millions) and what club Paris Hilton is at! ;)

I agree with you 100% plus her parents left her and her siblings alone at like 10:00pm sure they checked on them the odd time but still. Not to sound rude but its her parents fault too. I do hope shes ok though....

I totally agree with both of you. It is not fair. I mean, sure, the place where they lived (I have stoped by before) may seem safe but we never know. Letting children that age alone at home is a total irresponsibility, if I may say so. I mean, I got no power to judge others or anything nor I mean to ...but...it just seems quite irresponsible. Okay, it might have been a mistake or pure distraction, I understand that totally but..poor girl there. :( and I can say poor parents. Even with it they are suffering.

You're right, it is irresponsible what the parents did. And I know that there are so many other children lost. Hope that we can give them all some publicity.

I hope so that Maddie is allright. When I read about this case, I remember a girl of my town. She disappeared a couple of years ago. A month lather she was found by a walker. Dead. We were all hoping, hoping that the police would found her, safe, but somewhere we knew that it was allready to late. She was killed at the day she disappeared. I still see the newspapers of that day, I still see the reactions of the people in my town. I still know my own reaction. My dad told my the news and I was looking at him 'you're joking, you're joking!' I knew he wasn't... I cried, like I had never cried before.

I have the same feeling here. I'm hoping, I'm praying, but we are six weeks farther... :( six weeks is so long :( It's an eternity... :(
