Hi All,

Just a note to tell you I am thinking of you all. Still working on the Doctorate, which has been taking up all my time. The film that I worked on last summer, "The Last Sin Eater," is out on DVD now. Many extra scenes that include my character, "Gervase," are also in the "deleted scenes" section. It was a lovely experience.

I also wanted to let you know that Jim Reynolds ("Abe" on "Days of our Lives") had heart surgery this last weekend. He is recovering wonderfully. You can track his progress and send him supportive emails at www.jrrecovery.com.

Thank you all for your support, kindness, prayers and good wishes.

Sending You Love and Light,
Valerie

Best wishes!

So glad you stopped by, Valerie! I hope post finds you well. I was so sorry to hear about Jim but it's a wonderful thing for Lissa to do that blog and keep his family/friends/fans up to date! Glad to hear he's doing so well. I just posted this on Ali's board earlier and didn't realize it was over here too. Good luck with the doctorate! Hope you have a great summer:)

Valerie, thanks for the update on Jim. We'll try to keep up with his progress.

Good luck with the Doctorate. Graduate work takes a lot of time and effort. I have a Rank 1 in education which is 30 hours beyond a Masters. It's the equivalent of a PhD without the thesis. It seems like I went to school most of my life but it was worth it, although now I'm retired and just giving my friends who are still working a hard time.:D Let us know how you're progressing with the work.

Jim made a post himself that he's home and doing well. So wonderful to hear from him. Hope to see him back on our screens soon with a speedy recovery!
