Because once again they underestimate the intelligence of the TV audience.
They honestly must think we are morons sometimes...
I don't get it either...
Makes me so sad.

I don't understand the networks scheduling at all. I agree with them underestimating the intelligence of the viewer - and the fact that comedy can be smart and not always revolve bathroom jokes or sex. I'm disappointed this pilot wasn't picked up this season - maybe they'll keep it on a back burner and use it as a fill in later on (wishful thinking?).

I posed this question a month or so ago when we found out that her pilot wasn't picked up. I don't understand. ABC is run by idiots!

erhm... maybe coz other people think that that is interesting... I mean it is... Off course I would love to see Alyssa's show, but I can understand this... don't be mad on me now :o

Ha Ha ditto, does sound a bit crazy, and although i am upset at the fact Alyssa's show didnt get picked up... I still think they air some great shows like greys anatomy :). As i said maybe Alyssa is destined for better things :D.

Humans are way too easily amused...... i mean a show about cavemen vs. a witty comedy with Alyssa.... what has this world come to???

It's a game of numbers, and hundreds of pilots are turned down a year.

In fact Charmed was turned down by the Big 3 before WB decided they would take it.yes?

Don't expect the Gieco Cavemen to last more then a Season...if even that much....lol
