My poem for my mom

I wasn't sure if i should start a new thread or put it with other poems so if its wrong then please move it.

I wrote this poem in 2005 and i have always been to shy to show it peaple but the few who have seen it say its good so i thought i would pop it here to see what you all think. Its abit sad and im sorry about that i wrote it for my mom who died 19 years ago and i wrote it has if it was her talking to me. I think this poem helped me finally to stop being mad and feeling like i had lost her to knowing she is always in my heart. Anyway ill stop going on and let you all read it...

Always Around

Now life has evolved and death is here,
Please remember i'm always near,
I was tired and needed to go,
Its only nature's way you know.
Please do not cry or be sad,
Please don't hate me or be mad,
Don't ever feel you're alone,
Just because you can not phone.
Just think of me to get in touch,
I'm always with you because I love you so much.
You are my truly closest friend,
And that will never ever end.
Until the day we meet again.
Please don't let my life be in vain.
Just remember to live life and have fun,
The same way we would have done.


I hope you all like it and i didnt put you all on a downer lol

Aww that is such a moving poem!
Your poem could really help other people who's mothers have passed away, It is so meaningful, and in a way comforting as it tells you that she is always with you, It can give many people strength to continue on with there lifes.

Thank you all so much for your kind words this poem is the only thing i have ever done that i thought was any good lol Its nice of you to say i have a talent for wrighting but to be honest it must have been a 1 night thing. the funny thing is iv tried alot to do other poems but iv never been happy with them.. The night i wrote this one i was feeling very down so maybe these are not my words after all... ill try find out the others i wrote and post them if they aint to bad that is lol
