Hi guys,
It's been a while since I posted here. I was having trouble with the computer, with posting here and I had to save myself from ending up onto the streets. I thank you Vick for taking the time and efforts to fix my posting problem. Before I was suppressed from page 16, I wanted to dig my old thread, but I found out it was gone; so I'm sorry starting out a new one ;). I started out someone new for the fanart. (Don't worry, I will make it as beautiful as the Milano. This is just a basical wip ;)
For those who missed the point, I refresh your memory:

Now I tend not to exactly follow my reference, as I will do the hair free imagination. I however do chose this pose.
If you can recognize this person, I did a nice job already :D

Thanks both! Oh yeah... THANK YOU SCOLLZIE for your great efforts.
Yeah, indeed Vick, Holly Marie Combs at 10 %.
Do not understand why my new thread was suddenly moved. I don't know the route where it stands :( Too bad Lin Milano wasn't able to see it ;)

Wow! It's really impressive work you've got there. It continues to amaze me how artists like yourself see things and can replicate them on paper. I wish I had the eye for it all.

Thanks guys. I did post this a couple of months ago and I got alot of nice feedbacks, exept Alyssa herself :P. I hope I can do alot on the Holly Marie Combs drawing in my spare time. The hardest work is the hair as I litterly drew thousands and thousands of strokes in it.

Update on HMC. I've corrected lashes, brows add some shading, especially around her eyes. Right now I'm morphing further mouth and nose. Both are half way I think. The shading is a bit darker and contrastial in reallife. I like the outcome of the details but I'm having issues on her face shape. It was way out of perspective in the 4th phase. Find her face hard, cause there are no obvious bends and I have to interpolate as I draw the hair way different then the ref. So I made some dark resonance lines there to imitate the shadow effects. I love the pose, but I wanted to typify her. Ref will not be posted untill its done . Actually, I nearly dont look at the ref anymore.

Barbas, you are extremely talented. The drawing of Alyssa is one of the best I've ever seen of her. And the draft of Holly underneath with only the eyes? I knew it was her because the eyes are done so well. Don't let that talent go to waste - keep it up. And thanks for sharing your amazing work with us.

Thanks alot all of you. Here's an update ;)
I'm working almost on anything at the same time. Main focus of achievement lies now on tilting out the face correctly. Once I have that I can finish of the shading.

The photo is sharp but suppressed the dark areas. especially around the eyes it is darker. Photography is a occupation by itself :(, plus, my screen might have to much gamma correction.

Thanks both and Vick you in particular to open my eyes for the posting thread :D. I might repost this picture as I edit the contrast, cause I thought the photo is lousy... But I seem to have a gamma problem with my screen.

Update on Holly Marie Combs... It is a bad bad badbadbad photo! Blueish saturated (when I remove the quality gets even worse). Contrast in eyes are vanished. I worked on a 3rd layer hair in northeast and extended a 2nd layer in the west. I nearly done setting the inner hair so I begun working on the shading towards the vieuwers left edge. I do have smudges and problems. Another thing that is bugging me that I feel it becomes lesser and lesser Holly and I seem to loose radiance on her. She is more like a traffic light now. I think what causes it, but it can be dangerous. I'm debating shades and eye ends and the shapes above her jawbones. Also difficulties where to exactly fade in the hair. Here goes nothing....

ok, this update then....
Worked on north part, did alot of face blending and subreolute the hair in the northeast. Began to extend her hair at west and work on on the 3rd layer. Also extended her hair to the east. Made a little background to see its effect coming alive. Photo = whoozy, but hey, it is just a WIP! Have fun...

Well done Mike.
You really did a great job of capturing her eyes and nose too.
They are dead on....
looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks Vick and thanks for the efforts you make, to fire up the art posted here ;)
80-85 hours so far on Alyssa Milano's colleague... Need at least 50 to complete. The hair is free imaginated, which causes to change/appear shadows/facelines that I drew from a ref. Right side is on 2/3. Then I finish north and west and blend and morph her body/breast. Feel free to drop me a comment ;) It is a bit weird photo with that contrast but...here you go:
